Yeah it' great but the thing that I now want to play (MP) is not playable so it's not that great to have the game early :(

Oh, whoops. I missed that. At first I thought it was a chop and then I was like "No, that's not possible."

Wait, I have a question about co-op (my attempts at finding a copy early have failed):

On legendary, if one person dies, does everyone start over at a checkpoint like in Halo 2? Or is it just keep going until the guy gets rez'd ala Halo 1?

Yeah, that's the Elephant. You can't turn it upside in a normal game. It took Forge and lots and lots of fusion cores with low respawn timers to get it to flip.

Pretty sure you all restart. Skull might fix that.

Wrong way around i think - default is Halo-style respawning, Halo 2-style checkpoint resetting is optional via a skull.

And why are we spoilering this?

Still, 10,000, world-wide, is a pretty small drop in the bucket. There's going to be several million sold in the first day. But I bet a LOT of people snag it this weekend, at this rate.
 
About every three hours, I completely change my opinion of this game from "unbelievable" to "+10 unbelievability to what was previously said." It's so polished and detailed. I've already found lots of easter eggs, and I feel like I've only scratched the surface. I really, really can't wait until the 25th when we can all discuss these things.

This game is everything the fans could ask for. End of story.

Seriously, I keep thinking that the game is going to be released later tonight, no matter what the fact that it's only Saturday means. There's no pain in waiting left for me anymore, because it's only coming out in mere hours! Mere... 58 hours!

To the guy a few pages back claiming that midday Sunday GMT was embargo time, it definitely is not.

8PM GMT Sunday 23rd is the global embargo. 100% guaranteed.

"Midday" is only the embargo time in PST...

Just so you know.

snowy level and sunlight bouncing off ice or something I guess, just WOW isnt it.

When in replay mode, you can zoom in by clicking the right stick and you just get a ton more detail. Sure thats been mentioned but its just so amazing.

On sand trap making some crazy jumps for a mongoose now :D
 
I know out there is someone who is boarding a plane with his 360 to NZ just so he can get a copy of H3 before most of the world. :lol
