Ah I do actually have one suggestion. While browsing Bungie Favorites there are some "Most Played" boxes on the right with map and game variants. It would be cool if the name of the variant there actually linked to a popup with more info (or the info could just be displayed inline in the box). Specifically, it would be much better if you could get to see the description.
You can't tell much just from the name and author, and the only option on those side boxes is to view the author's profile or choose to download the variant to your 360. I would assume most people would want to read the description before choosing to download something, so I think this would be a helpful addition.

I jut finished the fight. Awesome singleplayer imo way better than the SP of Halo 2 which I thought was lacking, the pacing was just weird. On normal this was between 8-10 hours should take longe ron the other difficulties. It may be abt short but every second of Halo 3 is epic. Bungie did a fucking awesome job of finishing the storyline in the biggest way possible.

I'm curious what makes Seven Seas a pirate map variant of Sandtrap.
"Game Asset" is a general term describing everything grabbed from a specific game. When you go look at a game summary, you can see every screenshot and film uploaded from that game. "Screenshots" are simply one type of asset from the game.
The only real confusing thing is that there are two types of screenshots. The ones you take from films and are auto uploaded, and the ones you put in a file share. There are some stupid behind the scenes things going on as to why they're seperate, but they are.

Just seeing the Most Popular Downloaded clips gets me so excited, cause I know I'll be having so much fun with it and it's just so user friendly. It's like the website pushes Halo even further akin to Marty's music: the cherry on top, the whipped cream.

Thanks. Now the trick is keeping things online. We're already up quite a bit higher from our peak, and not many people even have the game yet. Code seems to be handling it though, aside from a few bumps that nobody but us noticed (although they would have come Tuesday).
I've been here since 7am this morning. We're already on our second hotfix build. Agile programming indeed. Better than being on the phone with operations during the midnight launch like I was during Halo 2, though.
