So, I'm guessing they pulled some strings to get it early since I don't think Bungie would of sent them a Legendary edition for a review copy.

looked like it was a later part of the game.

looks unbelievably smooth, chaotic and grand scale, though.

Thats clearly for the journalists only...We've already seen the retail version and they have others. If you saw the video the two disks should be sitting on top of the cat helmet on the plastic divider and its the first thing you see when you open the legendary edition of the retail version.

Looks like the same package that Stephen Totillo (the MTV blog guy) got - personalized LE console, legendary cat helmet with collector's edition game inside, the special edition controllers, and various other swag.

yeah, it was a personalized press package. not sure why they sent Live cards, but I've been personally paying for my XBL account.

After being told on the phone to my local Target yesterday that I could pick up Halo 3 today I just went it and got oh so very close. (Im in Aus). There was a teenager working and he even started looking for the games.... if they were near the counter instead of out the back I would have got it, but he ended up calling his supervisor who actually didnt know either, but after checking the catalog and seeing 9/25 my luck had officially run out
