Anyone in the UK manage to get a copy today?
I heard some Tesco stores had put it out early as they re-do their chart on a Friday, and Halo is number 1.
Checked both stores near me and nothing.

I almost had it from Woolworths.
They had display boxes without the release date on them. Took that to the counter and the guy said they had sold out.

Incorrect. In Halo 2's Legendary both players would have to start from the last checkpoint if one died....but Halo 3 does not have this feature, unless you activate that one skull.

That said, I've taken the MVP award Microsoft gave me to be plenty of reward for my past (and future) participation, which has led to some free games (XBLA and retail), swag (the Mountain Dew/Slurpee box-o-loot from this week) and access to the MS community folks. Frank and Luke got me into the IMAX event when I arrived late, and in general I've been very well taken care of - far more than I ever expected (which was nothing, other than the excellent games and community work Bungie provides everyone).EMBee99 said:
