Yeah I noticed that. I just saved 4 of them in the area and they took all the vehicles drove off a good chunk of distance and stopped making me run to them all.
 
Man, wednesday (EU) can't come soon enough, can't wait to explore the "Jungle". (Too bad I just got the end spoiled though)

How will the video stuff work in single player btw, is it exactly like multi? Excuse me if this question has been up before :>

Technically it's not video stuff, but saved films will not have rewind capabilities in campaign, be it co-op or single player.

From bungie.net:

Why can’t I go backwards in a Campaign Saved Film?

Because Campaign mode loads in a linear fashion – to skip back, you’d have to reload a previously played area. Which would take ages, suck and ruin the experience of watching the film in the first place. It also has to do with multiple checkpoints and the pseudo-determinism used in Combat Dialog, but we won’t frighten or bore you with that. In Multiplayer, the entire map is in memory, hence the ability to go back as well as forward.

It's exactly the same except you cannot use the Dpad to rewind or fast forward (or use the X button Menu to rewind or fastforward)

R trigger still works :D

Tried the local Toys R Us that someone mentioned previously that was in Woodbridge, NJ. No dice. :(
 
I remember in Halo:CE they over did the base by some odd technical means, and in Halo 2 the fixed it, but everyone seemed to like the over bassiness of Halo:CE.

Go tell the guys on AVS forums who will get frothy and excited about it. Hate for bose speakers is ridiculously exaggerated. They produce a perfectly good sound, but are overpriced. But to read about it on the internets you'd think they were Hitler Cubes.

? Bass as in audio?

There's an audio/video calibration in the CE/LE.

Yeah, I giggled like a drunken fool when that elite smashed the incoming warthog with the hammer. It was totally unexpected. Best Vidoc ever. And Tyson needs some sun.

Yeah I do, magicly they kill me in half the shots dispite aiming at their head tho, I guess its due to lag or somehow im missing them :P
 
Weird, I have a friend on my list who has the achievement for level 2 of the campaign but not level 1. I couldn't possibly play them out of order.

Most likely co-op. He joined with someone else in the later level. =/

Contacted a dude at NEWEGG... I ordered the game on Wednesday with UPS 2nd Day shipping under the impression that I'd have a shot getting it earlier than the release date. Anyway, I just had a chat online with staff support and asked if there was anyway I could still cancel the damn thing. It has been stuck on step 3 the past few days now, so I've been under the impression that they still had it. If I could return the item once it arrived and get credited for the money, then why can't they just keep it over there and save me the trouble? Apparently, it's already at some warehouse and has a tracking number. Anyway, the dude gave me $10 credit for the inconvenience. I'd suggest some of you dudes go bug them for the $10 if you haven't yet.
