Cocopjojo said:Wow. Well, if it didn't work... and it's a tiny thing in the midst of lots of cool stuff, but jeez... Me and my friends are campaign people and that was one of things we were most excited about. Videos of hidden skulls, terminals, cool fights against hunters, etc.
Ouch. BIG ouch.

The listing is up now in my subscriptions, but the file isn't available yet. I'd imagine it will be ready to go very soon.Blueblur1 said:The podcast is never up on iTunes when they post the update. That is so annoying.![]()
Basically the same as Halo 1/2. Start with Heroic, if not Legendary.franke8568 said:Has anyone heard how long the campaign is going to be this time around?
Just noticed that. Thanks though.BCD2 said:The listing is up now in my subscriptions, but the file isn't available yet. I'd imagine it will be ready to go very soon.

Vyse The Legend said:Um,1. I'm awesome. Add +5hours to your respective playtime. :lol
2. I explored a lot but not all the time, because the environments are MASSIVE.
3. It's only 9 levels long.
CougRon said:Frak itunes. I'll download it directly even though it's a pain. I've got to have my bungie podcast!
I'll just listen to it again when itunes finally downloads
Tieno said:How awesome are you Vyse?
Yeah I guess I try to prolong game like this. Deliberately exploring to delay the inevitable... just wandering if you did the same or if you essentially powered through it. All good.
Xdrive05 said:Wait, WHAT? You can't use the replay feature for the Campaign (a'la what they demonstrated it with a couple weeks ago)? Or you just can't make a movie file out of it? I'm confused.

You just can't make clips, or play it backwards. Clips are small segments of films. In other words, you can only save the full level playthrough, not a small part of it. If I understand correctly.Xdrive05 said:Wait, WHAT? You can't use the replay feature for the Campaign (a'la what they demonstrated it with a couple weeks ago)? Oh well. :/LukeSmith said:You can't make a clip/rewind for a number of hyper complicated reasons.
That's highly unlikely. It will be to do with the way they store saved films data and the features of their engine that allow them to play back this data stream. It is not going to be easy to patch this type of stuff. It is Bungie, so it's vaguely possible, but the limitations likely run deep.pooteeweet said:Could those complicated reasons be resolved with DLC in the future, hypothetically?
It's because they're probably storing the saved films data as an event stream. It's intuitive for their engine to play back this data forwards because it will be similar in nature to the external messages their gamestate engine will be receiving from network, input and physics systems. Going backwards, however, will likely involve running through the list of actions backwards and "undoing" them; reversing their effect. They would probably have to reprogram/add significant amounts of code to the event handling to support going backwards.Tieno said:I don't undersand why the guy in the vi-doc said rewinding MP footage was incredibly hard to pull off.
