Wow Forge looks so fun. Turning a spawn point so players face a wall as soon as they respawn :lol I also noticed the shadows actually soften as objects raise higher into the air and darkens the closer they are to the ground. That is a really cool realistic effect.

Yeah, AFAIK it's the only engine to do that in real time. Id Software's Tech 5 doesn't even to it realtime IIRC.

Two things after reading Frank's Saved Films article:

1. I'm genuinely considering signing up for Bungie Pro. In fact, I just made my mind up while writing this. I'm going to do it.

2. The first person to start an HD capturing venture is going to make some good bank. Far from everybody has a capture card and it would be phenomenal to send someone a gameplay video and have it in your email inbox within 48 hours (or whatever the terms would be). I'd do it if I wasn't going to be too busy playing the game.

Nice catch, yeah I don't remember seeing that one before.

It was also great to see the gravity hammer smashing a warthog; the physics reaction looked awesome - can't wait to swing at an oncoming hog. The long distance plasma stick around 3:20 was sweet too.

HOLY CRAP. Pay attention to the gaurdian clip in the forge section. They've got a gametype going where everyone is in infinate teleporter loops popping in and out trying to shoot each other. That is brilliant.
