How in the world Fedex or UPS know which box contains what? It's just another brown box and there is no description of what's in there on the box, right?

the box yes, but when you scan it gives specific instructions such as do not deliver until 9/25

I'm not glancing at a single review until I finish the game. Even seeing the pic of that grunt with his methane mask off irked me a little. I'm sensitive. =[

I'll cross my fingers that new orleans clerks are too stupid to know better. My chances are much better than most, as were totally disfunctional accross the board.

ups or fedex

if ups there is supposed to be restriction that wont let them complete the deliver/pick up if the do not deliver date is not met

fedex all the way. ups here is terrible. every box ive gotten from ups has been beaten to shit. can't speak for all the south though, just UPS nola.
 
everything that hits the air goes through louisville's internatonal ups hub, from there it goes to various places, but i can vouch that most things are handled appropiately here

although its been years since i worked there
 
This whole street date thing is a sick joke. Only the pirates will be laughing when the Rapture comes at 12:01am EST on September 25th.

trust me, its new orleans.. once it gets here its battered. I've sent things at work through UPS and watched guys open the back door of the UPS truck and throw the box in.. literally.

Newegg experienced record sales, and then record cancelations.

Also, more Forge stuff on b.net, part of the new interface relauched, and a new MP map revealed. Check OP. :)

I either love you or hate you, not sure yet.

Also I just looked, this is already the #5 thread of all time (in Gaming). Currently #1 is the Smash thread which is a little over 20k posts, and we will probably pass that before the game fucking comes out. Madness. I still think ultimately in the end the Wii VC thread will take all though, but it'll take a good while.

Ok,, I am responding without reading 10 pages or so after you posted this so apologize if somebody has already covered this.

I am sorry that you found the game “more of the same”. I am not sure what exactly you were looking for.

Something to remember is the difference between normal and heroic difficulty level is not (only) enemies having more hit points or MC having access to more weapons and ammunition. IIRC, some of the stuff that happens on heroic, do not happen on normal (enemy drop ships showing up in the middle of combat, etc.)

I guess it is safe to say this now. But I played Epsilon on both normal and Heroic (and I'm ashamed to say "easy"). And I watched my son play it on legendary co-op with another friend and the difference between normal and heroic was day and night. And –not- because it would take more to kill Brutes, etc.

But as always YMMV.

Played through on Heroic. I am tallying my estimated final play time now.

Thanks. Some LTTP observations:

- Construct seems like a map that strategy will take a major role in. I can't wait to play on it.
- I can't wait for Bungie to fully roll out that new UI, judging by the screenshots, it looks amazing
- Real men will wear Mark V. Old school ftw, bitches
- And, finally, this screenshot is all kinds of awesome.

So it says it was shipped directly from the vendor, which is probably their distributor.

We'll see later on tonight or tomorrow when the tracking number is activated.

EDIT: Newegg.com still shows me @ step 3.
