Astr00 PM me with your playtime - like, how long it took you on your first playthrough. And the difficulty. I found the amount of time that I spent to be... interesting.

Frank, I liked your shoutout at the end. You're married though, right? I would have thanked my wife. And my enormous cat.

Also, let me take this chance to thank you guys for an amazing game. Some parts, I could just hear the collective mind of Bungie asking, "okay, what's the most awesome possible thing we could do here? Okay, do it. Put it in. If it's freakin' sweet, put it in." After the 25th I'll go into detail, but there are so many things that got to me - little things that add up to make it really, honestly feel like a game for the fans.

Good question. There's definitely more going on while playing Legendary than Normal. Unfortunately I didn't take much notice of how many encounters or how many enemies there were in the idividual encounters, during each playthrough, so I couldn't really say. It just felt like there were more enemies on Legendary. There were a few moments where I would even proclaim "Hey, these guys weren't here on Normal!", but then one of my friends would argue with me, and I couldn't say for sure. :lol So much for a straight answer, huh?
 
Does anyone know if campaign achievements still unlock in co-op? Specifically,
finding skulls
and beating it on Legendary? I don't know why they wouldn't, but I was curious. I'm interested in doing some
skull hunting
with friends.

Works for me. I will probably never know the difference. I don't plan on ever playing normal so oh well. Thanks for the quick answer.

Same for me by myself. Exactly the same. I was on Heroic. It certainly felt
longer
. I was surprised to discover that it'd been that amount of time.
Noticing that it'd been that short amount of time disappointed me, but it didn't feel too short while actually playing it.

I'm not sure about the terminals, though, I think you have to activate them by yourself.
 
It's all becoming very clear as to why Frankie and the boys have been suggesting to start on Heroic..
the game is SHORT

Can you honestly fuck off, when was the last time you made a comment about halo 3 that wasnt negative, cynical, dick, etc.??

I would imagine the length of the game will be extremely comparable to the first two, if it is remotely as replayable as the first, I will be thrilled.

No idea. Can thieves play their stolen warez on Xbox Live or do they get banned like the original Xbox ?

That's just my opinion, of course. But, I'm a die-hard Halo 1 fan. And this game is amazingly fun. And with online co-op? Freakin' game over.

I think the co-op play will be the key to the longevity of Halo 3's campaign.

You gotta qualify what you mean by short. I played through Halo 2 the day it came out on Normal. Are there less levels or they're just over quicker? Ten hours or so is all I expect out of an FPS these days.
