Any UKers here, who has ordered Halo 3 from www.game.uk.com? I know there is a few, but I just wanted to know to hear about the status of your orders.

Got my CE pre-ordered from there, my Legendary ordered from Amazon UK (though supposedly it's been delayed until Feb 08 - hence the additional CE order).

I got an email about the CE today actually:

Halo 3 is nearly here!

This latest instalment of the hugely successful Halo series is due to be with you on Wednesday the 26th September. To make sure that we get this title to everyone who ordered it for release day we have had to start our picking and packing process a little earlier than we would for our normal pre-orders. As a result, we may look to authorise your credit/debit card from today – we still won't take the funds from your account until we despatch your order next week.

In the meantime, prepare yourself for the epic conflict between the Covenant, the Flood, and the entire human race as the saga reaches its dramatic, pulse-pounding climax!

here on europe a lot of stores are selling today ,this is a cascade one sells the others follows only big storechains like gamestop will wait to the 25

i got my special edition in a store near my house ( 20 meters lol) they got almost eight more copies

Well I'd wait till tommorrow. If it doesnt say its shipped by then, either call them or get on their live chat feature and they can cancel it for you.

Damn dude, chill out. You have been trying to canel your order since you ordered it. Everyone who ordered should be getting tracking e-mails later today/tonight. If they ship at 4 PST, there are 3 more hours atleast until it moves off of Step 3.

So just chill, wait until tonight/tomorrow to see what the deal is. Even if you have to wait until Friday to get it, that is still good, right?

That's the latest I got from Newegg. I am going to leave those poor people alone now and see what happens. I know from ordering in the past that I always get shipping confirmations around 5AM ET from Newegg via email. Never really sooner.

I haven't been trying/planning on cancelling my order at all. Tomorrow is the earliest I would do it. I was just merely trying to figure out how one would go about it once we've reached Step 3. That's it.

I know, I'm just uber jealous because I have to wait. None of my friends are really into Halo quite like I am so they are sick of hearing "Halo 3 has this and that" or "Today on GAF/Bungie Podcast I heard _________ about Halo 3" coming out my mouth every time I open it. I'm just glad there are so many people here on this forum that love the series as much as I do and feeling that same anticipation/excitement. It's so much better than just telling my friends something about the game and them saying "cool, I can't wait to see you play!" and not be able to carry on a conversation about any of it to keep the talk going.

Same here. I do a decent amount of ordering from them for IT stuff where I work, and it's always in the wee hours of the morning when invoices and tracking# emails come from them. If mine hasn't shipped by morning, I'll just cancel my order and wait in line on Monday night. I wasn't going to have much time to play this weekend anyway.

this on top of the 3 weeks it took for the coffin to arrive

Yeah I always feel that way when something major is coming out and I want it BAD.

Although in restrospect, I sorta can't beleive Halo 3 is here already. I waited so long for part 2, was the first guy in my town to get it at the midnight release, and yet I wasnt excited for 3 just a month or two ago. Now fast forward to about 3 weeks ago and my Halo excitment has just blew through the roof.

This game can't come any sooner.

Halo 3 Ban Rumor Clarification

Hopefully I can put these Halo 3 ban rumors to rest...

If you obtain a copy of Halo 3 prior to its street date of Sept 25th, you will NOT be banned from Xbox Live for playing Halo 3 early (not even my fellow softies).

So how does one obtain an early copy of Halo 3? I hear that there is a magical gnome that lives at the base of a tree in Topeka, Kansas that will give you a copy if you bring him the blood of a unicorn. Other than that, I have no clue.
