Newwegg sure is giving me some issues on live chat, I'll post what went down:
Justin: Hello, I'm just trying to figure out if I made the deadline on my order today for next day air. Or will my order ship tommorrow? and will my order ship either today or tommorrow? Thanks.
Salina: Let me take a look into that......one moment please.
Justin: No problem. Appreciate it.
Salina: Thank you for your patience...
Salina: It is still possible that this order will ship today, however I am unable to guarantee that. Please keep in mind that an order may take 24-48 hours to process prior to being shipped out.
Justin: Ok, well would it be definetly shipping out most likely tommorrow then? Or is there no way of getting it delivered by Friday?
Salina: It may ship tomorrow or Friday. It may take 24-48 hours from the time that the order is actually placed.
Justin: Ok, Well when is the latest possible time to cancel my order?
Salina: There is no specific time. It may be too late to cancel it at this point. I would need to check with the warehouse to see if this order can still be cancelled. Would you like for me to request that it is cancelled?
Justin: No thats alright. I'm just trying to gauge my options here. If it doesnt ship by tommorrow, then I'd like to cancel it Friday morning. So I guess I would go ahead and check my order tommorrow night and see what happens?
Salina: Yes, you can check with us.
Justin: Ok. Is this item actually in stock and ready to ship btw?
Salina: It appears that Halo 3 is currently on backorder, so I'm not sure if it made it to your order.
Justin: Yeah I made the order earlier. I have a email that says my card was charged already.
Salina: Yes, the card was charged, however the item may have been on backorder.
Justin: Well isn't it policy that your not charged until the item is ready and to be shipped?
Salina: Normally, the order cannot be created unless an item is available to fulfill that order. However, there are times when there are inaccurate inventory counts due to damaged items and things like that. So it is possible that the item is on backorder and cannot fulfill your order.
Justin: So will I be refunded if its indeed backordered? Or will I be forced to have my card charged until more arrives?
Salina: No, you will automatically be refunded if the item is on back order.
Justin: And theres no way to truly find out the status of my order until when? So in otherwords I'm sorta just sitting here waiting to know what my status is? When will I know the true status of my order? Not trying to give you grief but just trying to figure out whats going on with my order.
Salina: Yes, you would need to wait to check the status of your order, just as you would any other time.
Justin: Thanks for your time. I'll be sure to get in touch with the company later tonight or tommorrow.
So yeah.... What should I do then, jsut cancel the damn thing?
