LOL! That reminds me of the Halo 2 launch experience I had. I've been on GAF for years now, but somehow I didn't know about The Arbiter and all that. I was totally unspoiled and it didn't take much effort like it is taking now.

Anyway, my buddy and I get to the part where you take control of the Arbiter and I'm like, "What the fuck is this? I'm an elite now? This sucks! There's no human weapons in this level! I wanna be Chief! He's the fuckin' star of the game, not this guy! Am I going to have to shoot humans now? This sucks!"

LOL. Ah memories. I guess if I'd had that spoiled ahead of time, I might have put something through my monitor too. :lol

I want to, but I think I'm going to be in line at that time. I'd record it, but then by the time I'd be able to watch it, I'll HAVE Halo 3 already. :lol

I'm going to sleep after Heroes since I have to pick it up in the morning.

Remember, new Heroes that night. Thankfully, I can do my review for Journeyman before it airs that night.

lawlz. I had that first part of that spoiled for me and it wasn't that big of a deal just like this Halo 3 spoiler isn't that big of a deal to me.

I'll try.

In the Museum ad the old guy talks about when Chief armed his grenade, and then the Diorama ad shows Chief arming his grenade. Possible awesome cut scene here?

We must fight the spoiler asshats and ignore their BS!

The first episode of S1 was on Marketplace in HD for free for a while until NBC left XBLVM.

Really good show.
 
Excuse me if this has been beaten to death already, but..

why the f*%# aren't the metal case and hard-cover bestarium included with the Legendary Edition?! I want the extended digital bestarium and high-res Halo 1 and 2 cutscenes, but don't really care for the plastic helmet. Now that I've found out so late that the Legendary doesn't include the metal case and artbook, I'm torn.. =/

I have the CE pre-ordered at EBgames, and the Legendary pre-ordered at Futureshop. Anybody else still haven't decided yet?

Yeah, so did I a couple weeks ago. It was very solid. I'm afraid none of us here will be watching it when the new season airs on the 24th. :lol

Yeah, I thought it was decent series. I'm sorry but, I absolutely hated the finale. I'd say shows like Entourage, Lost, and The Wire take priority over it.

I wasn't a big fan of letting Sylar off the hook like that...

I'm in the process of watching Lost right now. On the 2nd season.

This always happens with me with TV shows, a whole bunch of new stuff comes on and most of it's crap. Then you have to wait to find out what's good and get caught up later.

Scrubs takes priority over EVERYTHING for me, but new (final)season hasn't started yet.

I'm afraid to discuss this. I'm taggin my theory about it. Some of you might not want to read it at all in case I turn out to be right.

I think that's the ending? The way the old man talks about it makes it sound like it was a HUGE moment in the battle. Like I'm thinking Chief is playing dead or near dead and for some reason needs to get in close to that Chieftan so he can nade-tag him. Chief then dies, but like Braveheart, everyone left is ultra-inspired and they go on to win the war.

I really hope I'm wrong. I'd hate to be right about something that big without having actually been spoiled, y'know?

I just bought a new Samsung Plasma for my Halo 3. I am still hungover from last nights incident. Am I a regular member yet? Damnit no. Is it the 24th yet? Raise your hand if you're gonna cry at the end of the game for one reason or another...
 
Btw, we have another enemy besides the SDF. The GAFers over in the Super Smash Bros. thread think their thread will defeat this one. I find that hilarious since their thread has been alive for months, and this one is already half the size of their thread which is at 400 pages.
