Non-story spoiler/ vague impressions part deux.
Up to the fourth level. I got a feeling this game is SHORT, since there are apparently only 9 levels. That said, it's very action-packed. The music is getting better and better. There's stuff blowing up all around you, so the environment is constantly changing. Equipment is badass, especially the new ones not in the beta (I'll refrain from naming any).

Still have not tried MP. I'm trying to plow through campaign, so I don't have to worry about spoilers anymore. :lol
 
Wow, this thread has almost hit rock bottom. We should be discussing Isolation and the new B.net NOT retarded spoilers and the people posting them. I'd love to see the guys who do wish to discuss this stuff do it by just using the spoiler tag for their entire post and stop this mixing that crap with the rest of the thread. Seriously, I'm going to bail out and I don't want to. I love GAF. :(

So, so far in the game, how is it compared to Halo 2? As good, worse, better, or hella better?

You're right. Discussing how people have been spoiled will only encourage it since the guy knows it gets a rise out of us.
 
To be honest there are a ton more pressing issues I've been curious about than were revealed in the little tid bits of spoilers I received.
 
This is awful. As I am sitting here reading this thread with my back to my TV (with 360 on) ...all I hear is "blink....blink....blink" I hope that is you guys signing off an on and not some douchebag sending me friend requests.

I have to go disable pop-ups. Sucks that it disables achievement notifications too. I hope I don't inadvertantly see anything that I can not unsee.

I hope nobody deletes me for ignoring them but I'm not takng any chances checking my messages until I have finished the campaign. Mad world, indeed.

edit: Just disabled notifications. I'm assuming that disables the little message received pop up too, correct? I hope so. I do have one message in my inbox that I'm not going to look at. What a joke.

There has not been a single part yet that I thought was a "throwaway" moment or sequence. Also, you can tell how fun it'll be in 4-player coop. The situations are just made for it.

yeah i watched the youtube video, but it doesn't really tell you much. i want to know stuff about the forerunners and gravemind and how that ending came to be.

All right. I'm setting my profile to no friend requests and I'm bailing out. No one is discussing any actual Halo 3 material besides the spoilers. This thread is as good as dead until 9/25.

EDIT: I can only block comms. Well, I won't be signing onto Live.

If I hadent read that spoiler before i'd be really flipping out. And I had fuckin forgot it. I then log in and see that. But to think of it, it could be OA, im not sure if my GT is on my profile there. Fuuuuuuck. Atleast the game will be fucking awesome! : (

Edit: Its not from an OA member, my old gamertag is on there. It has to be someone from my list, or from Gaf, which is the only place that has my GT. : (
 
I'm having a friend go into my xbox.com profile and delete the friend requests. Then I'm going to add random Silver accounts I have so my list is full.
 
I'm excited about the new B.net. I spend a lot of time on them(not right now for obvious reasons). Stats are cool, file share=win. Might make a group to organize a clan for my friends. A little competition between groups is always fun.:D
