Just found out the store I have my preorder at, they can't do a midnight opening because the town won't let them. Friend that works there said they might move some copies to another store nearby so some people can still get their copies at a midnight opening. I was so pumped to get my copy and have it back at the house by like 1am.
Maybe I'm just cursed because I had the same issue with Halo 2. Preordered at a mall store, and they couldn't do the midnight opening because it would've been too expensive to do it. This sucks.

Guys I'd be very careful as we come into the home stretch i was on 4Chan yesterday and a guy on their was asking for anyone who was a member of Neogaf to let him use their account to do a Harry Potter type spoiler raid don't know if that was the moron who got nuked earlier.

I believe the day has arrived, sadly enough. It appears that there is a leaked copy of Halo 3 out on the net now. I guess the pirates get to play it a full week before the rest of us.

I'll suggest what I suggested earlier in the thread to those of you who are worried about the spoilers. Use the Private Chat on XBL. It blocks out the normal in-game chat room when being used. I think you can go into Private Chats by yourself as well just to block them out.

Well I have some news for you guys Halo 3 should be hitting retailers today. I'm a package sorter from UPS and we got shitload of boxes going to Best Buy this morning. On these boxes it said don't open until September 25th, I had an idea it was going to be halo 3 so while nobody was looking pried open one of the boxes and there it was halo 3. There were about 20 in each box, and we got about 20 of them today.
