See I'm not very observant to this type of stuff, but me and Trasher were playing DT Elongation the other day and the boxes quit spawning, a definite wtf moment...don't think it had ever happened to me before, kind of a hard thing to miss.

One of the guys in the Podcast said the opening cutscene with Marty's music was a really powerful scene, I think I'll save that for midnight next week. :P

...hey, that reminds me: will there be any alternate endings or just one, with a few changes here and there for the harder difficulties (like Halo 1)?

Kinda not keepin' up with Halo 3, sorry for the noobness.
 
I don't understand watching an opening cutscene early. Its like when you get home at midnight, and you pop the disc in and change into your tophat and monocle, you watch the same thing you've seen already.

It's like seeing your christmas present early. It's awesome at first, but then on christmas morning you wish it was all a surprise.

It seems to happens on a bunch of other maps too...

On Headlong you can't break the glass inside the defense base
On Coagulation there was four sniper rifles and two rocket launchers after the host quit once. Same thing for Midship and Colossus (double the power weapons).

I always wondered why this happened, seemed really weird to me... ferrex?

I gave into temptation. I watched the opening cinematic.


Overall quality is amazing. The animations are SO much better than Halo 2's. Dialog, too. God, EVERYTHING is so much better.


That damn opening makes me want Halo 3 even more.

I regret watching that video. Not because it spoiled me, but because it's so amazing it makes me want the game even more. One week!

Hearing this only gets me more excited. I'm in for an HD surprise in LESS THAN 7 days.
 
I watched all the multi play vids. All the maps are HOT. But I hate how we always get these idiots who dont know anything about the game that get the game early. But Im not watching the intro, for why? Well, I invested $600 into my HD and $500 into my Elite. Another $60 and I can go blind playing one my most anticipated games.

I'd love to see it in HD.

I have a 27" SDTV, though.


Thinking about getting the VGA cables, and just hooking my 360 up to my CRT monitor.

Anyone done that before? How's it look?
 
Hell.. maybe I'll watch the opening intro.. I mean, it's not technically spoilers since it's the first thing you see in the game.. plus if others get to see it.. f them!
