Just looks like more incorrect information from XBL - the fact that it mentions clans immediately discredits the source as that is a definite no.

Just woke up, had a dream that Bishoptl got the ending spoiled for him and made a huge statement in this thread.
Too much NeoGAF lately perhaps..

The name came from the MP Vidoc, and was glipsed on a monitor in the background. Hopefully it's one that will be revealed this week.
 
I just got yelled at by my boss for looking at our Halo copies the wrong way (I held one).

I almost cried. I should quit so I can play it straight for a week from 25th on. Then find a new job. I only take 4 classes so I'm working there to relieve my boredom.

Also tell him that Frankie is like, the Ambassador of Bungie, so it's legally binding.

Will do. I hope he doesn't hurt me. I also hope I don't get fired. I'm counting on my discount for my Legendary box.

Then again, I'd pay more than $130 for it so to hell with the discount.

Regarding that Gametrailers leak: Anything noteworthy happen after the awesome loading screen? Im too scared and paranoid to to watch beyond it

It's just a video from the Epsilon. After the loading screen, it goes to the start of Tsavo Highway.

My store was supposed to have a midnight launch today, but apparently only 15 people reserved one so the district manager did not allow them to do one.

I am trying to get a new HDTV in the next few days and I came across this Samsung Plasma. does anyone know what Bungie uses when they show Halo 3 to press/reviews? I just think whatever those are, that they look reallly good. Not sure if its an LCD or Plasma.

anyways I just paid off my Limited Edition. and I will not even play the game until I have my new tv. because i believe this game s hould be seen in its true glory.
 
Bungie does use Samsung plasmas sometimes. They're a nice set. The best tv on the market are the pioneer plasmas out now. They're a little more, but they're awesome.

I believe Bungie uses LCDs.

If you're willing to pay for a nice Plasma, it would be totally worth it.

Edit: Not sure about the Bungie TV type, could be wrong.

OK, I'm officially too scared to peruse this thread for fear of seeing stuff that'll spoil my pristine Halo 3 experience. Paranoid? You better believe it.

Its been great reading guys -- see you in a few weeks, after I've finished the fight a couple of times.

Wish Frankie would do somthing on the next updated about the best HDTV's to use for Halo 3. I'm looking to buy one soon.

Samsung LCD's to be exact, either the 23, 26, and I believe I might have seen them use the 32 incher once. All the newest model of course. I myself am getting the 26 inch when I can afford it. I live with my mom and dad:lol

I have no idea what Bungie uses, but you can't go wrong with the Sharp AQUOS D92 LCD sets (start @ 46" and up). Absolutely phenomenal displays.

We've shown the game a lot recently on AQUOS televisions, I believe that the review events in both Seattle and New York used AQUOS televisions as well. Not the D92's however, as we had to squeeze many dudes into not huge rooms for the review session. Frank likely knows the specifics if he wants to share them.

Personally, I love my AQUOS at home.

my local store sold it too. (germany)

they only got 3 copys and i saw how the last one was sold.
5 minutes earlier and i could play halo 3 right now...

I haven't seen many of these around. I'll keep looking though. I trust that it does look phenomenal. THERE JUST SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM! and thank god the limited ed comes with a calibration tool
