Randomly browsing b.net. I came across this guy.

Is that just a really clever emblem or is it unlocked when you receive recon? I've never seen the likes and going by his screenshots, he doesn't seem to have recon. Made me go "hmmm".

Looks like the Ninja icon with some background one set to the same colour. The Grunt facemask by the looks of it...

Shake, the recon helmet was something I had started earlier, but decided to leave in the scene for now as something to ogle at. The first scene I do will feature a familiar spartan with standard (but damaged) MK VI armor.

However I will be modeling all the permutations eventually so don't fret on that.

Thank you, and yes that would be my ideal career. I've been doing this for about 6 years now starting at the age of 12. I use 3dsmax 2010 and will be using ZBrush for detailing.

Any map I make and share out is free for anyone to use, modify, share, whatever. Play it, tweak it, remake it, go for it. Don't worry about crediting or asking me for permission. I don't care. I make'm to share'em; you can do whatever you want with them after I park them in my file share.

I assume that's the case with everyone. Once a map it tossed out into the community, it's out of the creator's control. As it should be.

I think the time you devote to making an Elite model would be better spent making a space battle scene.

Having seen "The Island in the Sun," I would also like you to see do some environment on Installation 04 - that would make for an awesome desktop background (as well as the space battle scene).
