Well I would be more than motivated to playtest a blank version of the crypt for 8v8 where there are 16 ghosts. Or perhaps a Fiesta twist where there are random vehicles and it is similar to bumper cars in which everyone has to run and claim their vehicle of choice. Last one alive wins. Although Butane would probably quit if he didn't get to the one Prowler first.

Customs last night was pretty fun. I think you will recognize this moment of Epic fail:

He melees you, and being too close for rockets I try my BR, only to get a flagpole showed up my nose, with a melee rocketboot thrust . :lol
That one I understand, but this one has me puzzled.

That's because five was playing so awesome he didn't have to abide by the rules of the game engine. He did whatever the fuck he wanted and it worked.
His connection was pretty laggy (at least in respect to my 360, I couldn't hear what he was saying half the time) so I assume if he showed the same event from his perspective the positioning would have been different
So, the epic fail I alluded to before.
The setup:
BTB, Avalanche, One-Bomb
The game is tied 1-1. This is the bottom of the second round, so if we score, we win. We've just had a failed assault round through the teleporter - everyone converged perfectly. I had rockets and camo, a loaded warthog was prowling, we'd picked up laser. We'd run into surprisingly little resistance. I try to head through the teleporter...and it's blocked. And then, we're all slaughtered as a guy with camo and rockets kills us all from the outside of the tunnel. It was an ambush.
So now we know their strategy: cut off the teleporter and camp the base. We have no choice but to bum rush.
And here we go. First, what I saw during the game.
I've picked up the bomb carrier, with active camo, and am speeding to the front man canon. I'm hoping to be a distraction long enough for the carrier to sneak in and arm.
Unfortunately, his camo wore off before we got there. I bail and launch on the man cannon to see if I can soften them up a bit. He brings up the rear.
My approach is perfect - the mongoose acts as a shield and absorbs all BR fire coming my way.
This is what I see: five guys camping, two with rocket launchers. We're screwed. I toss a grenade, but as I bumped into the mongoose on the way up I just land directly in the man cannon, and am spared an explosive death.
And in comes the bomb carrier. I'm sailing backward in the background there, smacking into a power drain someone tossed. A good idea, but I knock it to the side, and it blows up before landing.
Just as I land, a Warthog sails right under me - all driver, no gunner. At least he'll be another distraction, if a short-lived one.
I launch back in, BR blazing. At least one of the occupants sails out, arms flailing. So we did some damage, at least.
I land to find an apocalypse. Everyone is dead. WTF!
No really, everyone. The five Blues, the extra that launched in as I went back out, the bomb carrier, the guy driving the Warthog.
I stick around to defend the bomb, but there's no conflict. It blows, and we win the game.
That's what I saw in-game. Here's what happened while I was away.
The bomb carrier landed, armed, and tossed a trip mine. He backpedals and is toasted by a rocket a second later.
Warthog...incoming. A sniper kills one of the Blue working the bomb, and the shot passes through two others, softening them up.
The Warthog lands, and one Blue backs up to dodge it, into the trip mine.
It blows, but doesn't kill anyone - it just blows everyone's shield off. So far so good.
And then this guy thinks it's a good idea to shoot the Warthog point-blank. Way to go brainiac!
He kills the Warthog, the driver, himself and his entire team.
The best laid plans....

Why is it that this 'trueskill' lie matches me against a team of folk who have only lost 10-20% or so games in their entire h3 career and puts me in a team of folk who've only ever won 10-20% of their games. Fuck! FUCK!! Yeah, I'm pissed about going down from 37 to 35 in snipes.

Remove Heavies from Squad Battle, please.
The maps are just made by a 3 year old getting his hands on a 360 controller and just smashing his palm against all the buttons on the controller until a bunch of shit was pooped onto the maps and then clicked Save.
These kinds of maps shouldn't be in a ranked-environment.

Just got back form a weekend in St. Louis watching the Cardinals kick some Astro ass. Games were fun, Pujols kind of failed, but whatever. The first game that we went to, there were two guys that sat right beind us that sounded exactly like Dax. I swear man, I did a double take behind me when I heard them. Both of them, Dax's voice. Shit was weird.
Sorry I missed Customs, sounds like they were fun. Although the two party system seems kind of not fun. I hate dealing with the big parties, playing MM with the 5 or 6 guys that stick around later is the most fun for me.
Ghaleon's story was epic. And Self, if you ever want to shoot some guns, come on over to my place. I got plenty to go around.

I waited until 5am GMT and we still had around 14-15 players. My router cut out and I couldn't be bothered going back on at the time.
The two party system was pretty good for me, Storm. Mind you... I DID have five, penguin, juices and some other great characters.

This might be pure sentimentality, but for sheer construction, Sandstorm is my personal favorite if mine. I just get a kick out of the second floor up there. That...took some time. :lol
- Dropped tubes on the top level down into the geometry to free up budget (cutting $40 in tube ramps)
- Added roofs (wall corners) to bases, moved weapon blocks, replaced columns with obelisks to provide more cover
- Removed one active camo, moved other to the outside lower level
- Added overshield to the other side, opposite the active camo
- Removed sniper rifles
- Increased rocket spawn times
- Increased laser spawn time
- Minor spawn adjustments
Thanks for the games today, on all the maps. Zombie Choppers is my new favorite regular game type. Just awesome.

Juices did NOT take a minute and a half to make that sandwich, he must have fallen asleep in the hallway. Mind you, the game we played was epicly short.
