thats what the matchmaking system is for, so teams of completely different skill levels dont play versus each other

as a side note i wish halo reach mp is just "fps creator 3000" and bungie goes crazy with the customisable options

Well, the notable negative Blueblur moments were when I was joking around and 'trolling' a few months back (which was really the IRC guys and I making fun of some HaloGAF'ers) and for a while I was confrontational and little negative. But I'm generally super laidback and smiling all the time.

Edit: Plywood, you know the way to a man's heart. And as a sidenote, when I was 'trolling' last year I was making fun of Lukems and we talked and joked about it behind the scenes through PMs. I think some people thought I was actually trying to be a dick to Luke. He's a cool guy. Doesn't afraid of anything and all that jazz.

GTTV is starting. I just saw 2 seconds of Halo Legends.

Edit: They just showed it. It all looked cool except for the CG. It looked like bad anime CG. And the 'samurai' Elites looked a little odd. Time will tell.
 
Halo Legends looks like it will be pretty sweet. But right now I just want ODST. I'm really stoked for Firefight...

And what's this about ODST unlocking content in Halo Waypoint? Interesting. I'd really like to unlock some free ODST armor for the avatars.

Hey guys kind of off topic but I wanted to know what I should do.


I want to buy a 360 mainly for Halo 3 (going to get wars later on and of course ODST and Reach) but I wanted to know if I should buy now or wait?

Although I still have no idea what IX is, I just watched Legends on GT and it looks freaking awesome. The Gundam Spartan thing looks like a stretch, but I love Gundam so BRING IT.
Command and Conquer 4 looks amazing. Can't wait till that goodness comes out.
 
Hey, bet you guys are glad to have another newbie.


Halo: Waypoint sounds interesting to me, but I'm going to need to know more before I can form an opinion. Right now it sounds like it's a place to show off stuff you've done in Halo games, get Halo news, and view Halo content. So...is it Halo Home? Or is it just going to be like Bungie.net from our Xboxes? Hopefully we'll see more very soon.

Legends...well, I hated that trailer. If this isn't milking a series, I don't know what is. I've just never imagined Halo with that kind of art style, and it doesn't seem to fit. The CG seemed pretty bad, but I guess it can improve in the coming months. I just hope the stories aren't utter crap. I'm sure I'll give it a look, and maybe I'll end up buying the DVD, but I really hope I don't end up regretting that purchase.

ummmmmmmmmmmm it's Halo and Anime - my two favorite things in the whole world! - combined. how are you hating on this? seriously? Halo's incredibly deep narrative and richly detailed universe deserves these films. you can be sure it will be filled with stunning visuals that synergize with the immersive gameplay of the Halo series. if the DVD menu is controlled with a fake BR (hopefully no BR spread that makes you randomly miss the chapter index am i right <_<) then I will preorder the box set as soon as its available. my curvy girlfriend is used to my anime and loved the elegant design of the genuine silver spartan helmet ring that I just ordered so it should be cool in this household :-) Roll out the futon, power on my tv (40" CRT HDTV for deepest blacks of course) and let the anime commence

Menus are controlled with AR so you can start all episodes with French subs simultaneously from anywhere in the room.

Probably will be some arcade game that will cost about 10,000 space points.

I wonder how much Bungie has to do with stuff like this.

Legends is still meh.

I just got back from my first day at Comic-Con. I didn't take many pics...it's not like they showed off a new ODST firefight map :\
We've all seen this stuff before...

Microsoft's booth. It was smaller than I thought it would be...only 7 screens running ODST. The main screen was running split screen.

When I took out this wraith, it froze every Xbox on the LAN for about 5 seconds. Weird stuff.

I waited about an hour and a half to play ODST for 10 minutes. Was it worth it? Hell yes. To be honest before playing it today I wasn't too excited for the game. After playing today, I'm sure I'll get my money's worth from firefight alone. The first thing I did was switch to the pistol and head shot a grunt from the drop ship turret good stuff. BUT there was lots of recoil with the pistol maybe too much, I'll have to get used to that. The new SMG was nice also although it seemed to have more recoil then the current SMG although I don't use it often enough in Halo 3 to remember it's characteristics. Another thing that's going to take a few rounds to get used to is the grenades arc. Without the strong arm of the Spartan it just falls short. The more and more I think about my 10 minutes I had playing ODST the more I realize how much fun it's going to be with a full firefight match with friends. I have to admit I did miss the BR though...where is it??? :lol I asked Paul Bertone and he said something along the line as "you won't miss it the more you play and we have the pistol to take it's place." We'll see.

After playing ODST I went to the panel: The Halo Franchise: What’s Next...
No talk of games just the Halo Legends anime. It looks like it will be good. Although there was some weird CG scene with a spartan and an elite with energy swords that looked a little out of place. I was hoping for some more talk about the games but I knew it was mostly going to be about the anime. I caught Frankie at the end of the panel and I got him to pose for a pic holding up my phone with neogaf loaded on it to post here for the lols but it didn't come out too good. He was in a hurry to get to a signing and he was whisked away from me like the pic of Megan Fox and the rose boy. I'm not even sure he heard me say I was from GAF. :lol Did you Frankie?

I'm sure everything I typed out makes no sense...I'm tired. Fun Day. Wish I could play ODST again tomorrow. I'll try to get my hands on L4D 2 in the morning.

I sure did. You have black hair desperately fighting curls, are not hideous, dress normally don't smell and your iPhone has a plastic case. You stood at the left side of the stage and then I was LITERALLY dragged away. Apologies.
