Halo 3's got legs.

I hate days when you go in matchmaking and just do badly all around. I'm having one of those days, and I just can't seem to go positive in any game I play.

Summary of how many kills I've received (and deaths) for each game from all my games today:

  • 2, 7
  • 6, 5
  • 8, 14
  • 8, 12
  • 13, 12
  • 7, 15

Huh, well, I actually went +1 in two games, but still... Also, a lot of assists in between.

Oh, and I have been reading this article, and loved what Ken Levine (who is awesome) said what Bungie did:
It took Bungie to make modern shooters really work.

Since the NXE, the 360 supports 1440x900 and 1680x1050. I use the latter on my 20" screen (through VGA), and it looks basically the same as before (when it was stretched a little in the vertical direction). Except for small black bars on the top and bottom of course.

also my new map is coming along nicely. merguson and willeth have both had sneak previews. i would say its at the 80% mark.

In other news, I got like 5 acheivements tonight without relaly trying to get any. Got a perfection on Assembly BRs without a problem. That's like my 5th or 6th perfection by now.

Are we playing GAF customs tonight? We have a few poeple on already.
 
I've been playing parts of the previous 2 Halo games as of late, and they've got me wondering. They both have an easter egg in their respective first levels that is referred to as a "Megg," Does Halo 3 have one in Sierra 117? As a corollary, are there any eggs in Halo 3 that haven't been found? And what about the cryptic message Jaime Griesemer gave HBO when the Halo 2 Megg was found:

"Unfortunately, I don't get the prize for the 'Best Hidden Egg' this time..."

So is Octagon a good map? You-know-who picked it to be in matchmaking you know.

I also think BRs and Snipers should replace shotty snipers or at the least get added to the playlist.

I hear Octoplex is actually a decent map. I haven't played it though.
