Firstly, Killzone avatar proves nothing, I can enjoy more than one game, infact I have more posts in this thread than I do in the Killzone 2 thread. please don't make judgements.
I wasn't making any judgments, just saying that I'm not so crazy for the game that I have an avatar for it.
Secondly I never said the game wasn't going to be fun,
No, you said that the game wasn't fun enough to justify the price of the LE. Here, you are being unfair, because Halo Wars
alone doesn't justify the $80 dollar price. The LE is meant to be worth the price of Halo Wars, a steelbook case, a comic by Eric Nylund, and three maps (among some other things). ALL TOGETHER they are worth the price of the LE (in my opinion).
you sound as defensive as most KZ2 fans.
Yeah, I'm absolutely going crazy over the scores this game is getting. I'm fucking pissed at every 10 it doesn't get. My impression I got from the demo and the reviews I read is that it is a very, very solid 9/10 game.
I stated that I didn't get enough fun from the demo, therefore I will buy the game for £45 (not $80)
Um, what? That's about $60; the regular edition does not come with the maps. Either way, you never stated that you were getting a discount for the LE.
, the best 3 maps in Halo 3 history.
Over hyping just a little.
Thirdly, you can deny, but I know 100% this is the truth, if Halo Wars was called Warhammer: March for Destiny or some other cliche you wouldn't have created an impressions thread for it and also "dibbed" the Official Thread.
You know that to be 100% true? You keep on believing that. You have no idea what my gaming habits are; I buy a game whether or not if it is good. Most of the hype generated from Halo Wars is that it is a Halo game made by a (once =[) very talented studio that has worked on this for the console from the ground up and designing to prove that RTSs can at least be streamlined and work for consoles. The reviewer of Halo Wars from GameInformer thinks Halo Wars will do for RTSs on consoles what Halo did for FPS on consoles. As I said before, it feels very much like a Halo game. The music appears to be of spectacular quality, the multiplayer enough (seemingly) to give it a high replay value, and the controls are excellent.
It is my guess, and note this is personal specualtion, that you enjoy the Halo franchise enough to wish to contribute to it's GAF legacy by becoming the figurehead for it's online image, as people like Ghaleon, Urk,
While I would be happy to contribute to the online community (I think anyone in this thread would jump at the chance to help out), you can speculate all you want, but this isn't the case. I like doing official threads, and I would hope I can do the BioShock 2 thread.
No offense to Eazy, but how he is a figurehead for Halo 3's online image (in doing stuff for the community)?
Edit: Whatever, man. Spend your money however you wish.
