So I'm chatting it up with some buddies over MSN and I see a friend who hasn't been on MSN in ages sign on to deliver the greatest piece of news I've ever witnessed. This man is Dirtbag and he will go down in history as the greatest man to have ever asked for anything. His achievement you will see cannot be matched nor duplicated. I give you...

I would not call Dirtbag getting banned "good news".
Apparently tons dudes asked to see the rest of this gif over in the Killzone thread. Go look at all the names that have been banned on the last few pages. :lol

The CQB helmet makes the Assault Rifle stronger. The CQB helmet gives the player wielding the AR the ability to do more damage when running in a straight line, and gives said player a longer Melee lunge.
I will be uploading my test videos to youtube very soon.
Makes sense to me, why wouldn't a CQC helmet make you better at close range. Just like how the recon helmet lets you stay invis longer and flight makes you jump higher.

Although this might be better handled by one of those full-time Forgers, given the necessity for accuracy to get it right.
Can't wait to try it out, Voc.
Woot! It's my birthday today!:D Finally 17
Today i got the Art Of Halo 3 and it is fuckin' amazing I dont know but there artworks where i can only say wow. i hope bungie will upload some of my favourite pics,(Warthog p. 72, First View of the Ark p. 91, Last Resort on p. 118 or Groundpounder on p. 96.) i want to use this as wallpaper for my desktop
I've gotta tip my hat to urk and Luke for their cunning and deft update last week. After reading it originally, I really thought I had crossed my wires about the whole blue grid deal. In one fell swoop they decimated the blue grid theories without actually lying -- because it wasn't the same grid at all! Well done, gentlemen. You had me fooled.

I can't recall a single map that's had this kind of roll out before. (Of course, we haven't seen a map like this before either.)
Yeah, after hearing about the distribution of maps over Mythic and ODST, I really thought that they'd save the best for last. I'm having a hard time imagining how they can beat this monster. There's just so much potential to be had here
and I can't believe they didn't have to delete any skyboxes or terrain to make it happen. ;-P

Yeah, despite some folks, I think, getting mad over some 99% innocent totally not-my-fault accidents.
The book is really something else, everything about it screams quality -- the art, the layout, the insight, etc. I really hope we see something like this for H3:ODST. Not sure how sensible of an expectation that is given it's only an expansion, but give some of the art we've already seen is unbelievable.
And Dirtbag, if you're going to get banned from GAF, that, my friend, is the way to do it. Well played, bro, well played indeed.
We've a tradition here at work where the birthday person brings in a tonne of food for their department. I'm now stuffed and incapable of focusing on my spreadsheet.
How is Bungie these days handling the forged maps? Cause when I was still playing it most of its potential was wasted due to forged maps barely being included in the playlists.

Actually, last night I kind of took it in a different direction...
Rat's Nest Match starts; Trasher hops on gun and I take us to rockets and immediately drive straight over the edge
Entirety of Valhalla match spent attempting to run down EazyB in any vehicle available to me
Any time a prospective gunner behind me wanted in, I backed up at full speed to meet him halfway (he usually wasn't able to get in, due to... an unfortunate circumstance)
Driving around Sandtrap with no regard in general to any person (friend or foe) who may or may not be in my path

It all makes sense now. I survived the first time you backed into me and thought it was an innocent mistake. When you backed me over for good a minute later, I'm thinking, "wait a second - I didn't see no brake lights." :lol

Well, I wasn't EXPECTING to kill you... I typically just like to put the fear of god into folks right as they hop on the gun. That way their adrenaline is rushing and they're ready to go.
So I did genuinely feel bad when it said "You betrayed GhaleonEB."

A map that requires flying to plant the bomb? That's a great idea. So many other possibilites requiring players to change tiers from sky to the ground with teleporters as well.
There was an incident last night and I think we should try to crack the case:
Coco P. Jojo had just valiantly retrieved the flag from blue base. He was just over the hill's crest and his destination was in full view.
Unfortunately he had no idea the fate he was about to succumb.
The official records state he was killed by an enemy blue's rifle fire but a recent autopsy hints at foul play. Mr. Jojo's body had received major fractures indicating blunt force trauma to several vertebrae and his already disfigured recon head had been reduced to an even more disfigured recon head.
Valhalla Cold Case Files returned to the neighborhood the incident occurred in to question some of the locals. One person who shall remain anonymous, let's call him Eggs L, stepped forward and claimed to have seen a friendly banshee come fly in and obliterate Mr. Jojo.
When asked why someone on his own team would kill him, if he had any enemies in his squad, Mr. L said that everyone hated Coco P. Jojo and had it coming.
Looking into the archives reveals that the following people were in his team that evening:
Thermight (he was mad)
Ghaleon (repeated TKer)
Nutter (AFK and couldn't be reached, has no alibi)
Omlet (mad as well)
Eazy (regulator and vigilante for justice and awesomeness)
Trasher (he's an ass)
Spud Bud (all around nice guy. But that's probably just what he wants us to think)
Further digging revealed a sole image captured from blue base surveillance:
The image was taken approximately 42 seconds before Jojo's time of death.
I never flew a Banshee that round, so I'm clean. Pretty sure I blew up one of our flag carriers with a frag at one point though. I get carried away with grenades when things get hectic.
