Exact same thing happened to me. Get to Lieutenant in one of the playlists and you'll get it.

I think this is the stand alone client that Spudbud recommended.

Which are both, I think, freeware. The xchat client is a 30 day trial. I use Chatzilla so I can't personally give you any tips on which one is better.

If you use Firefox, definitely go for Chatzilla. It's an add-on that you can start from the "tools" tab.

Soldier is a real eye opener for Halo fans. If they ever do a Halo movie in Hollywood that's where they need to take inspiration from when it comes to the portrayal of the Spartans.

A variation of that story would work in the Halo universe or at least in the expanded universe. I sort of expected Nylund to go that route in Ghosts of Onyx when I learned that it would introduce Spartan III's. It ended up being much more clever than that thought with the III's being watered down mass produced Spartans. Something that makes more sense for the UNSC.

Now the war is over and the UNSC has a lot of shiny new technologies to work with. It would make sense for them to start a new supersoldier project, a true update on the Spartans.

Maybe Nylund, Bucknell or even Staten will write to a follow up to Halo 3 that includes a similar storyline.
