Maybe because to get that many achievements they had to count that map as a DLC pack and use achievements for that dlc set specifically.

Just fun achievements to show off, they probably ran out of points available due to the rule and they just added these in for people who like a challenge. There are a few games out there with 0G achievements.

Also, because a lot of people don't like not being able to get all 1000/1000 because some achievements are "too tough." So some devs make the hard achievements 0pts.

Lately, I've been feeling like MS has put us bungie fans in timeout.
And us bungie fans are starting to sneak out of our bedrooms with ladders made out of our bedsheets - tv sitcom style.

Okay, so if these achievements are for a "Mythic" retail release, what about the people who already have the game? Will these be available as DLC?

700 points, DLC or a new disc does not make. We're missing something. Are all 30 achievements accounted for?

They had something to make fun of you, I think it was "Needs a Tutorial: Lost 5 matches in a row." :lol :lol
 
So can we expect this to be released on/or around the one year anniversary of Halo 3? That one achievement says it can only be completed after 9/25/08. Intrussting...

What are the codenames we got so far on new maps?

Purple Reign (Assembly
Moonbase Alpha (My guess is Orbital since they said it's a UNSC space-ship map or something)
???

Also 6 maps! :D 5 constructed maps by Bungie and Sandbox is probably the blue grid, highly customizable forge map.

The third was rumored to be the grid map, never got a codename.

Did someone pull up the xbox blade during the in-game assembly FFA time, and notice these?

How could you complete 4 player coop with everyone on ghosts?

Also 7 EXP on the 7th day? Alt accounts FTW?

By using the four Ghosts found outside the Control Room.

And impossible surely. There are numerous doors in Halo3 were you just can't get vehicles through. I tried oh so hard :( :lol

unless it literally means clear the game with everyone on Ghosts.. as in just the final level/jump. That makes a bit more sense.. :lol

You're reading it wrong. It means the last level, Halo. Right outside the control room there's 4 Ghosts under a ramp off to the left.

Don't forget that each playlist will have its own EXP after the update so you would only have to get it in 1 of the playlists, so just save one after the update if this is even true.

Yeah I copped on in the end :D. Sounds easy enough provided you can get 3 other players who are decent on the ghost

Doesn't AU2 create individual EXP for each playlist? So the 7 EXP one should be easy enough as well well unless you've played every playlist before the noticing that achievement
 
All of this kind of makes me think that the mythic map pack may have not 3, but 6 maps.

Kind of like the halo 2 map pack, which had....5, I think?

Only it'd be 20 dollars instead of 10.

That could have been any map, unless it was named after the little wall in the sea of grid. The one with Marty talking could be any of the other 4 maps.

Yeah, I've done it with some AJ guys before. Well, three of us did, back in January. It wasn't too difficult.

Certainly looks like it....and wow.

I mean if this guy was playing Assembly at PAX, why didnt anyone stop him from opening the blade and checking this shit out.

Well, some of the screens were facing away from where Sketch and the crew were standing. And I'm sure if there were kids behind him, they were just as eager to see.
 
The "after 9/25/08" thing makes me want to bet that the rest will be retro-active (where applicable). Like the Double Double one.

While that would be cool for those who did those certain actions already, I somewhat hope not. I don't want to just pop in Halo 3 and have 10 achievements pop up for doing absolutely nothing. :P

It'd actually be really fun to go through these medals again and this time, earn an achievement for it. :)
