I am Argentine, and reserve the right to act insulted about any thing anybody says about hispanics, even though I'm latino and the two aren't the same. And I'll also act outraged if you confuse the two.

I had an ancient 4gb mini which was years old - battery died, but it works fine otherwise. I'll have to get an after-market kit and pull it apart, which I've been lax on doing because of my schedule. My fault, I know. The main reason I'm stuck though is that my work (AT&T) is undergoing some rapid changes over the next few months regarding ERPs and I could end up getting a 3G iPhone for an affordable monthly rate which is the only reason I have yet to snag one.
 
I was away since last wednesday or thursday so i am just getting back to last weeks BWU.

Sounds like some nice changes are coming for september. I am excited for the map variants (and for magnum starts :lol)

And am really looking forward to the 6 man playlist. Should be a nice balance between TS and BTB which was difficult to assemble a crew for but was also laggy.
 
Finally got around to reading the latest BWU and saw this...

The Penny Arcade Expo is just a week away and we’re scrambling to put the finishing touches on what should be a sweet experience in our swanky Bungie booth (#752). I mentioned before that we would have some new multiplayer content and today I can confirm what many of you have already surmised – “Purple Reign,” officially named “Assembly,” will be available to play.

You have to be fucking kidding me. You guys took one of the coolest map names ever and replaced it with one of the dullest most unimaginative names ever.

I've got a feeling that "Assembly" fits the map a lot better than "Purple Reign" did.

The official names are usually more appropriate, but they're not nearly as fun. Srsly, who wouldn't want to play on Purple Reign or Moonbase Alpha? Those names just reek of awesome.

You're crazy, the worst name change in video game history goes to Smuggler -> Cold Storage hands down.

But I agree don't be afraid to stick with the codenames.

I thought Curious Gorge was a better name than Valhalla too (though that's actually one of the few map names I do like).

I miss the humor in the map descriptions from Halo 1 too :(

I really like the song. It's the kind of music that is supposed to get you all high and happy while you drive along the coast and fool around with your friends.

Dax, do you have more of that kind of music?

Different strokes for different folks, I guess. I didn't mean it as an insult to Dax or anything, but there's just something about that song that really, really irks me. The video, the melody, the lyrics (holy god the lyrics) were all just terrible to me. But, as I said before; if you like it, you like it.

The girl certainly isn't hard on the eyes though, I'll give you that much.

I'd laugh my ass off if you spent all that time and money on getting your fake number and then as soon as you went into MM alone you got owned and went back down to 48. Has it never occurred to you that you're simply a level 48 player?

Hey, you're not too far from me, Voc. I feel your pain though. I remember driving up to South Carolina which took more than 10 hours (got lost and all).

Hostile and I will be leaving Miami on Friday morning. Its supposed to be a five hour flight. I'm undecided as to whether to play my PSP on the flight or read some Nietzsche.

I went tied for the first time in Team Slayer last night since I started playing Halo 3. We were ahead, but one of my teammates got killed by a lucky grenade at the last second.
