PS I liked your clip. Always nice to spawn and see a warthog flying by in the air. Since social BTB is retired soon where are you taking residence?
 
I don't like to toot my own horn or anything, but I think my devil's advocate arguments are better than Dax's real arguments. It's alright, we'll teach the kid about the subtle art of flaming... when he's ready.

It's funny, recently I've been playing really well, especially with the long rifle. I don't know what's going on, but recently it seems like every time I shoot I'm getting headshots, everytime I throw a grenade it goes right where I want it to go, and every time I turn around and blindly fire my snipe at a guy who snuck up behind me, it's a headshot it's beautiful, really.

I'll probably split my time between the new DLC 8v8 and the new 6v6 playlists. I actually prefer the RBTB gametypes, but it always takes much longer for me to get a match. With fewer players, I should hopefully have more luck. And I really like the BTB DLC maps - Avalanche, Rat's Nest and Standoff.

I kind of wish the 'hog had landed on me. That would have been perfect. From first person, I spawned and then saw a pair of wheels cross the top of the screen. :lol

In a way hes in the right. FB Snaked Neighbor from the #1 team. After losing a teammate like neighbor with all the money on the line it probably feels like justice has been served.

Oh and are they playing with wired controllers? Or are those just recharge kits?

Who was being the obnoxious loud mouth from str8? Was it Legit? Wow, that was annoying. I wanted to see FB go down, until that prick started yapping.

So it'll be Str8 vs Instinct in the Championship? I hope Instinct wins so Walshy can smoke those cigars that he showed off in the MLG Toronto preview with his buddies.

EDIT: Nvm, looks like Instinct vs Str8 is a Winners Bracket match, and the winner of THAT will face someone in the Championship. :P

after that Onslaught game you knew Str8 was gonna take the next game no matter what it was. After seeing that video of Walshy and the rest of FB talking about the decision to drop Walshy, I want Instinct to take the whole thing. I have a feeling after this tourney there are gonna be a whole lot of people being dropped.

Yup in all honesty I'm not sure who's going to win between Instinct and Str8 I predict both of them being in the championship.

What happens is one will lose and fight through loser bracket to reappear in the championship.

I'm going to go with Str8 for the whole event because of their team experience. So hard since I know Soviet is so motivated for the win.

I don't see it. FB won't drop anyone from their team since this event is the highest they've placed in the past three events (and right now it looks like FB is facing another team in the LB so they could come back)

The only teams I see changing are Time 2 Prove, Team Classic (again) and Carbon. But teams like Carbon and TC have become a joke after Meadowlands.

they all play on wired. imagine having millions of wireless controllers in one room. that wouldn't work. plus wired has a little bit faster response time anyways

what? they finished 1st in meadows and 5th in orlando. they're only guaranteed top 6 right now; top 4 if they finish this match.

but i don't think they will drop anybody too

I meant "last three" as in San Diego, Orlando and this event. :P I know they placed 1st in Meado.
 
I like that MLG mixes in objective gametypes. Thier CTF, Oddball and King of the Hill games are really interesting to watch for the map control tactics they use.

and i like the contrast between gametypes like ons ctf compared to construct king or guardian ball. they have completely different tempos. but they really owe that to bungie (and forgers too) for making such a variety of types of levels
 
Look at how much better the game is without radar. You actually have to have skill to win, instead of hiding behind a corner and staring at a red dot or running away when you see a red dot.

Yea it always amuses me when playlists like TEAM slayer have radar, a feature that supports less team communication.

Radar is for FFA gametypes only IMO.

and Ghaleon yes the Objectives is why I like the MLG playlist so much, I could never play more than a two or three slayer games in a row. Mainly why I don't play TS, but also cause the whole AR thing.

Definitely. My least favorite MLG gametype to watch is Team Slayer. My favorite being MLG CTF Narrows. :P

I like radar on flag and bomb, making sneaking in for flag steals necessary.

I dislike radar on all king, ball, and team slayer modes.
