The Official Halo 3 Thread

My faith in the movie is being restored. If they stick with H:FOR story then it would be my dreams come true especially if it is done right.

The new H3 vid also looks very intriguing but at the moment the only thing I want for multiplayer is the ability to search for custom games without having to jump through 100 flaming hoops.
 
Not totally Halo-related, but the horribly named Age of Booty (where's my 'Plunder'?) looks really really cool. I'm glad to see matchmaking elements from Halo find their way into other titles (of course, it helps that Max H. and co. are making the game...), although I'm doubtful that any XBLA game like this can be played online seriously beyond the one to two-week mark.

But man, I don't know if I can watch Gamespot videos anymore. The people are just so darn awkward...I can't even make fun of them because I legitimately feel so bad for them. They are simply terrible in this and other videos.

I still think it should of been named Pimps at Sea but Age of Booty will do.
 
I just want a fully customizable forge map, anything else would just be extra.

And props to Shishka for downplaying the video. This definitely means awesome things are on the way. A full campaign editor is all but confirmed.

Sounds like there might be some substance to the video, but it also indicates that what people are suggesting is way overboard.

You realize most of those are probably not legit right? Check his ranked stats for a better look at reality for him. :P

I didn't comb through his stats with any great amount of detail, but I browsed through several pages... all of those were legit, 20+ minute games.

I miss those maps, as well as Ivory Tower, Coagulation, Beaver Creek, Lockout, and Sanctuary. :(

If anything, it sounds closest to Derelict than any other map. (With the addition of 2 bases and no teleporters... so Isolation I guess you could say...)
