I've found a permanent addition to my playlist.
 
I took a long break from it, mostly playing WoW as well as Civ Rev, but I'm back now.

Speaking of which I had the most glorious flag stop about 30 minutes ago. I'll post pics soon.
 
sigh. I used to love Team SWAT back in Halo 2. Elites weren't an issue, didn't notice many host problems, no ShWATguns, no ShWATguns, and no ShWATguns. :(

Where are thou H2 SWAT?

Shwatties is great. Sure the host advantage is an issue sometimes but unless you're obsessed with ranking up and stuff, it doesn't matter. It's a blast...that's the most important thing.

Sure it's fun, if you're a level 2 and everyone in the room has no idea what they're doing running around aimlessly saying "SHOOT ME OVER HERE -->".

I used to be like you and think ShWATguns was awesome, but then I opened my eyes.

ShWATguns is kind of fun. If you're winning and playing in a map like Snowbound, just have your team go near the turrets outside.

Still would like SWAT with Carbines =/

Thought about putting The Pit over Valhalla, but the top building spawns really kick people in the balls.
 
I'm becoming increasingly convinced that Valhalla is the best overall MP map in the Halo series. Most maps, there are some gametypes that work and some that don't. Pretty much everything rocks on Valhalla. So many great encounters.

Generally speaking, one-sided game types don't work well on two-sided maps (Valhalla), nor two-sided game types on one-sided maps (Ghost Town). There's a few exceptions. But Assault, Neutral Assault, Slayer, CTF, VIP - I'll gladly play all of those on Valhalla.

I still wish Escort was in Matchmaking, though, to mix up VIP a little.

1 Flag on Valhalla is good, but not as good as multi.
 
Games like Multi-Flag and Neutral Bomb should be abolished for one-sided maps like Ghost Town. Why the hell they're included is beyond me. Hey, while you're at it, put Multi Flag on Last Resort and High Ground.

They should add more variety in Team Objectives anyways. Multi-Flag at Snowbound would be a nice twist. Perhaps moving the flags in different spots about 10 ft away from the shields doors in the back side of the base. And also adding a Mongoose to each base (behind the back rock for one side -- behind the purple structure on the opposing side). Does it hurt to add these types of things? Escort is and has always been better than VIP, too.

I can post ideas all night. It won't matter since it often goes ignored.

They need to remove that box in the base so players can't flip it on the flag spawn first...

Has anyone else noticed a sharp increase in players without microphones? I keep getting matched agains a wall of mics, and one, maybe two on my team. 90% of the time, the team with the mics wins.

what might be my issue?

trying to play the DLC matchmade but get the player failed to have all the maps required.

last i knew i have all of them.
wasn't the newest one cold storage?

Failed to load maps or loading information from H3 server. Cause we just had like 10 minutes of problems with that.

I don't know if I'm in the minority about this, but I think it'd be awesome for an updated Bungie Studios Tour video. :D

It'd be cool to see some of the new employees, any new things added/changed to the Studio itself, and anything else they'll throw at us. :P

Currently watching the LE Bonus Disc for the billionth time and I'm watching the "24hr day at Bungie" again so that's what made me think about this.

Yeah, that would be cool. I suspect they're hella busy right now, but I'd love for a new, true vidoc of that sort. Focus on the transition to Bungie, post Halo 3.

Also, I wanted to toss my most memorable moment of the past week in BTB, which just occurred.

I was hesitant to make this claim after your first questionable victory but this seals the deal. You guys are officially better then the other GAF team, Team Jesus. May I suggest a team new name for you guys? The TJs; Team Judas.

My thoughts on this:

1.) Even though FB has been together for quite some time with the Ogre 1+2, Strongside, Walshy setup it is apparent that their style of play does not win Halo 3 MLG. They probably do need to make a change because for them there is money on the line.

2.) I don't discount the fact that they might have booted Walshy, he was posting the worst looking numbers out of the 4 in pretty much all recent tournaments. They probably are trying out new members.

3.) I heard snipedown rejected them which was smart. tD is the new team to beat.

4.) It makes no sense for Neighbor who was brought into Str8 to leave a team that just recently got a 1st place and a 2nd place in the last two events to go to a team that is struggling.

5.) If Neighbor did leave for FB, who is Str8 picking up?

6.) Why would Walshy go to Chilled Reality? Where is the relationship there that makes this seem remotely possible? Why does this make sense?
