DS, the two letters below the three numbers, could refer to a
certain telescope. Though, this isn't the only "DS" telescope.

The Flood are extra-galactic in origin; triangulating a position, maybe?

Does anyone know where I could host some files, and then set some kind of log-in so that I can control who sees them? I'm looking in Photobucket, but I can't find how to make an album private and only share with people I choose.

In Photobucket goto Account Options and scroll down to "Album Settings". Select Private.

Photobucket is weird about that because even if it is private, if someone guesses the url, they can see the picture.

Luckily, there are a few maps that are gold, which can be played over and over again. See: Valhalla, Avalanche

Yeah. It's probably my play style, but I think most of the larger maps are excellent, especially with the DLC added in (Rat's Nest, Avalanche). A lot of the smaller shipping maps were disappointing, relative to Halo 2. But again with DLC, I think that's been rectified.
 
What is up the Snipers tonight. (every other game was a snipers match) :(

And It has been said before, but the spawns on Blackout are really stupid. Shooting someone at BR3 from Sniper2, all alone and when random shot hits, try to move behind cover, but wait your partner just spawned behind the cover you were trying to get behind, so I am stuck in the open not realizing why I am stuck and get killed. :(

Default Foundry, Construct, and because spawns cannot and seemingly will not be contained, Narrows.

Guardian, High Ground, Avalanche, Valhalla, and Standoff are the best maps.

Yea that shit is annoying, you get this general feel for where you are in relationship to the map so you can move flawlessly around while in battle. Before you know it you get a guy who spawned right next to you and it gets all screwed up. Happened today for me in Onslaught ended up nading a wall because I THOUGHT I would be out of a walls way but I just ran into a teammate and got stuck.

Blackout itself feels nothing like Lockout did to me. I'm terrible at that map, where I was quite good at Lockout. It's just the general way Halo 3 plays that makes it not as good as Lockout was.

OT: Saw Batman today, simply amazing. Didn't really follow the hype train because I never really thought the superhero movies were that great. Dark Knight really took me by suprise.

Same exact boat as you, Eazy. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm going to sometime next week. Glad to hear that someone who didn't follow all the hype thought the movie was fantastic. :D

And I'm in the same boat as you. Superhero movies bore me, but Dark Knight seems to be something different.

I worry a bit for Ranked BTB. I'm only a 31 now, and my party of 5 is struggling to get a game. There are apparently 3870 people playing, though.

Is anyone else having trouble getting matched up?
