Yeah. I'm still really disappointed and upset at MS, but I never really lost perspective. Regardless of what some morons told me I was thinking... I completely understood that the game would still come out and be announced, etc. (DUH).

But yeah, as I said in the thread, it was like every user came into that thread trying to sound more ignorant than the last poster. What a shitty thread. But, I made some excellent additions to the 'ol ignore list, which recently exceeded 110 users!

Oh wow, I need to get busy then. I think I'm pretty light in comparison. Wish I didn't even see that thread on the list, like ignore whole 'thread' button or something. Its just so tempting to jump in and regulate... but its much better for my sanity that I don't. I would have thought more people would have been quick to turn on MS and use it as an opportunity to bash them, instead it seems people were intent on playing devil's advocate and dropping some real 'wisdom' for the bungie faithful to sop up.

Nades and Spades is only Sticks count towards a kill and you have regenerating grenades.

And yes Instagib I was going for UT Instagib in a Halo game.

Actually, it makes the internet much more usable. I just have a quick trigger finger and am grumpy is all. I usually end up taking some people off.

Yeah, I really have no clue. If I was forced to take a guess, I would say SI isn't connected to Halo, and that phrase is just a homage/red herring, because it's not like SI seems like he fits in the Halo universe anywhere.

But at this point, all we really can do is wait to find out.

Bungie could be doing to Superintendent what they did for Halo; they may not be related at all, but still have some aspects that makes a reference to other games made by Bungie.
For example, Captain Keyes having the Marathon symbol on his uniform, and the Marathon symbol on the side of the Pillar of Autumn.

Yeah, it's all about the K/D ratio and the assists. If your K/D ratio is -5 but got 10 assists and everyone else got 3 or 4, you're still postively effecting your team. That's how I look at it at least.

A player with 10 kills and 5 deaths is doing just as good [some may argue better], than someone with 20 kills and 15 deaths.

I think it's if you an enemy dies within 4 seconds of you shooting it you get an assist.

edit: Did all the Halo fans get all emo after the cancelled annoucement? It's been a very slow couple of days in this thread...

You hurt the guy, but your other counterpart finishes him off for the kill.

Teammate killed him and you assisted it. Any confirmation?

I think both people get an assist. Makes sense, you both assisted the kill, just as long as it's within the 4 second window of the death. At least that's how it should be!
