I finished teh game on legendary last night. I can't understand why people like COD4 more than HALO3.

I'm playing through on Legendary for the first time. Soooo good. I can't believe I've only beat this game once.
 
Man, I'd love a Headlong remake. One of my favorite maps ever. Headlong and Terminal and I could die happy.

I can't believe we still have a whole day to wait for this thing. :lol
 
Anybody care to post a quick outline of what you guys know about what will be announced? I cannot keep with the progression of this thread.

Pretty sure that countdown on Bnet will lead to some type of announcement.

I didn't understand why Halo Wars was a no show at the conference though, I would have much rather seen something on it than that lame ass Fable 2 "demo".

Yeah but I definitely doubt it will be a new game announcement. I mean the Microsoft conference was the place to announce it, no?

Not if they want to give Bill Gates some dignity back and launch something head-to-head against Sony.

The problem with having the first conference is that no matter how epic it is, some of that impact will be lost during the other conferences (regardless of how they compare). If Bungie is indeed going to reveal something worthwhile, then MS is smart to spread their impact throughout the event.

It ends the day after of Sony and Nintendo's conference, so no. Aren't they under contract to make like one or two more 360 exclusive games anyways?

Anyways, that Halo Wars cut scene was fucking badass, I really like Ensemble's Elites, they remind me of the CE Elite glory days! :P It also kinda made me want that darker Halo game to be real...I still don't know how this franchise can't get a movie going without a hitch.

OO...Good point. I'm thinking of the Wii 1:1 announcement right now. Haha. To think everyone thought Microsoft's conference would have been gimped because of that. Let's see if Bungie can put some further damage into Sony.

Elites in CE were alright but the ones in 3 just have a certain something the originals lacked.
 
I'm gonna piss some people off by sayin this but I gotta tell them the truth. The elite's as a multiplayer character in Halo are comparable to the Alliance in WoW. Only those *cough* of questionable intelligence *cough* and 8 year old kids play as them.
