They play nothing alike. While Avalanche can be a blast it feels way to small for 6v6 but, ask Ram, Valhalla is perfect for any sized battle. Even with my lost for BTB I still think Ghost Town is the funner map although the only playable gametype on the map is slayer.

And then halo must have felt good about that so it decided to give me a lag-filled rockets game where right in the beginning a guy spawns directly in front of me by like 5 feet so I shoot a rocket which just likes its metallic barrel home just a bit too much and decides to stay in there a bit longer than it should have.

Let's not forget Avalanche also gave us the first use of the Hornet in multi-player.

As far as the Legendary maps are concerned, I thinks it's safe to say that it'll be a while before they're free. In the meantime, enjoy. Even then, the sooner they're free the sooner they'll be fully incorporated into MM and you'll be able to enjoy them even more.

OT: I have been sitting at my for the last 6 hours with not a single thing to do. My mentor needs to get his shit together because I could be playin Chillout right now if I wanted to be accomplishing nothing.

Yeah, I completely didn't hear that. Anyway, it is fun. Haven't played Avalanche and just Black out and it is hell of fun. From what I hear, the 600 points thing was only today.

Oh yeah, I want to play with some of you guys. GT is MasterNinjaAce.

Delete your subscription to the podcast in iTunes and resubscribe, its showing up as April 7th under the release date, for some reason, while the show name remains 070708. To be honest, I have no idea what the deal is, it doesn't show up in the iTunes store, but it auto-downloaded for me when I resubscribed.

BAD EAZY. Valhalla is not good for anything under 5v5 unless its Snipers. We've been over this.

And to the person saying Avalanche is Valhalla in different skin, Have you ever played the two maps?

3v3 Valhalla is like a vacation on the beach. You walk around, take in the beauty, kill someone every few minutes, then continue on your merry way.

Oooooooh more sexual tension with Easy... Respond in kind. The Disgruntled Gamer won't play Cold Storage with me. Oh well he likes dumb games like Assassins Creed which is dumb. TDG is dumb.

I made some more profiles to download the Bungie Day Gamerpics and Theme more times. The Podcast is on loop and I am flying to Seattle now to listen to the podcast in the Bungie Parking Lot! It's like I'm really there!

That's my main concern. I foresee a lot of questionable spawns and grenade spamming in Chillout's TS future.

That and I fuckin hate teleporters set up in places unpredictable places.

I suppose it would be in Team Slayer, but with BR-only starts (and especially no radar) it was fine for the games I played tonight. Lots of fun.

Did I accidently turn off rumble, or did my controller finally give in?

Where can you turn rumble on and off in h3? I just noticed all my guns felt really light, and couldnt place it.

The guns in halo are all really light.

Just got Cold Storage, the Legendary Map Pack, and the themes + gamerpics. I should have fun for awhile. =)

Nothing better than a slayer where a party of 4 sat idle for pretty much the whole game. :lol

One of the reasons I never cared for Chill Out. Damnation would have been a better choice.
 
Darn it all to hell!

With Cold Storage being free and me having XBL gold at the moment I fired up some Halo 3 for the first time since Christmas. Within a few games I did something I had never done before and scored a double kill with a splaser.

Awesome! Haven't played for 7 months and I pull off something I never thought possible.

After squeaking like a girl for a minute, scoring another splaser kill, I came back into the crucible.....

Most people are probably thinking "so what, I get killocity everyday with a laser" but I felt damn proud after that. The only thing was.... it was on a social playlist. No achievement points for me. I only have 25pts left in H3 and I don't ever want to resort to shameless "lets stand around in a circle jerk and kill each other" achievement whoring, so I'm a bit gutted at the moment because I'm pretty sure that I'll never get a single kill with a laser again, let alone a double! :lol
