Yeah they'll probably put up a Bungie Update this morning because they're probably off for a 3-day weekend. The update will probably clue us in on the festivities saved for Bungie Day.

I've been wrong plenty, my wife can guarantee this as fact.

And if Ghaleon disagrees with me here, I'm likely the one who is wrong about Chill Out's possibly appearance this weekend - but maybe this coming update will at least give us a breakdown of some of the things we can expect on Bungie Day. Who knows...

Good news.

We’re trying to churn one last thing out today regarding Cold Storage, and we hope to have that for you folks later this afternoon. We’re just squeezing it through the download system this morning. If something cataclysmic happens and it doesn’t get out today, I’ll stop drinking beer and consuming grilled meats over the long weekend and get it up for ya’all.

My Halo 3 still doesn't work though... :( Does Microsoft still have that replacement program? I'm trying every disc-cleaning method I can first. It doesn't help though that my 360 is old and has troubles reading discs sometimes as it is.
 
Wow, Cold Storage for free is really happening. I wonder what kind of strings Bungie had to pull to get MS to allow this. Thanks for making it happen, guys!

Now, to count down the hours til Monday.

This is a pretty good hold over until the next map pack comes out. I'm assuming it'll be out sometime in the fall because that's when game companies like to take money away from us.

Also, although they keep denying it, I bet the legendary pack will be free by then.
