Well you see when TDG broke-up with Eazy, he starting seeing Kibbles and Kibbles said that he wasn't seeing anyone else when in fact he was secretly seeing Luke. Unfortunately for Kibbles, TDG was tipped off by someone who shall remain anonymous (Coconut) and now TDG is really angry at Kibbles, so angry in fact that TDG made fun of Kibbles' skill at Halo 3. Then Kibbles became all upset and in order to cheer him up, Luke told Kibbles that the WU is coming tomorrow morning.

Just played through a chunk of Halo 3's campaign on Legendary with three friends. Had a ton of fun. Was reminded of how awesome the soundtrack is all the way through. Probably going to finish up the last two levels tomorrow night. It's our contribution towards achieving 7 billion enemy kills for Bungie:D

And oh yeah...HAY BUNGLE, NICE PAINTINGS!!!1!1
 
hope the price drop on the 360 comes soon so my friend can get his own

he's running out of one month live accounts to keep going for halo 3. also, having the screen all to myself would be neato

Ok, so when I heard that Narrows had more BRs placed on the map I was pumped. That map is unbearable when a team controls middle with BRs while the other team spawns with ARs and no BRs to be found.

Now I've found out that the extra BRs don't spawn in at the bases for respawners to pick up but smack dab in the middle. So could someone work this out for me. The problem with Narrows was that a team that controlled the middle could easily spawn camp the other team because the respawners couldn't find a BR. Now Bungie decides to give the team in the middle two respawning BRs while the bases have no additional BRs. How could that lead to anything other than making it easily for the middle to hold the middle without ever needing to budge?

Edit: And I <3 Luke for goin the extra mile and giving us a update tomorrow.

Domino Theory 2

Usually, before I begin a party and invite my friends to have another fun-filled day of Halo, I always take a glance at the playlists and their descriptions, population at that moment, certain skill levels present at that moment, etc.

Earlier today was no exception. I was cruising around the playlist descriptions until I came across something.. odd. I noticed that the playlist DLC Objective and other playlists that required both Heroic and Legendary DLC said "Heroic/Legendary DLC Req.". I thought to myself "yeah, that's a given", but as I look at other playlists, specifically Team SWAT, Head to Head, and DLC Slayer (all of which require both Heroic and Legendary) didn't say the same thing.

They all said "All DLC Req.". This seemed funny to me. I thought to myself "Why would they name one playlist "Heroic/Legendary DLC Req. and another playlist All DLC Req.?" Don't they mean the same exact thing?

But then it happened, I remembered last Week's Update containing the words "DLC, H2, SWA" What's funny about that? Those are all the playlists that have the "All DLC Req." component while DLC Objective and others have the "Heroic/Legendary DLC Req." meme.

Cold Storage is coming. Coming sooner than you think.

So, last night when he gave me his theory on the playlists, I was completely lost behind my blanket of intellectual bankruptcy, but now that I can think clearly - he's absolutely right. Pairing his theory with the last post Luke had, seemingly stating that the weekly update would be out sometime this morning, tells the story that we might be getting Cold Storage today or tomorrow for the weekend playlist.

That would be awesome.

I'm with Ghaleon on this one; it's definitely coming Bungie Day, but the official word is probably coming today.

Um... maybe (wouldn't want to be disappointed now would I!).

Agreed; map Bungie Day. It may be announced and detailed this morning to understandably publicize its release; but I think a surprise announcement to direct release would be the shit.
 
Happy Birthday Domino! ... I can't wait until my honey gets unbanned.

I like Domino's theory (:P), and I hope it's true. Certainly makes sense to me. Besides, Ghaleon says no, Voc says yes, so it probably is true.
 
Holy cow, Domino am genius? It'd be awesome if we got it today, since those in the States are off work tomorrow.

But it'd be kind of weird to give it out before Bungie Day, I think. I guess we'll know shortly, right?

I figure since they probably get to work at 9 am pst that we might know between 9 am pst and 12 noon pst, which means 12 noon est to 3 pm est for me. Better than waiting till 9 pm est on Friday for sure.

Two-part theory: 1) Microsoft does not like releasing content on Fridays, in case something goes wrong; 2) It's a holiday weekend, and Monday is Bungie Day. If it follows last year, content goes up at 2am Pacific time. They need the playlists ready now, for when the maps release. No time between now and then.

On that note, I'll post the Bungie Day thread tonight.

Announcement of the free map would be ideal, I guess. If they really are going to do it, that is.
