Could a map be out for only a weekend?

I think I actually figured part of it out. The second Double EXP weekend will be a Cold Storage only playlist and it will last 48 hours. (Saturday/Sunday). It'll be a good way to have everyone test out the new shiny map.

They could take the map out of matchmaking but I would be completely shocked if they released the map for a few days and then took it away.

There is a lot of info about it, and none about the others. Luke hinted at it being standalone, odds are good.

Tip #1: Did you know your Wraith is equipped with a handy gunner ejection button? If you ever find yourself in this situation:

To activate your ejection seat, find a rock (a cliff wall will also suffice). Point your plasma mortar cannon directly at the rock.

Eject the pest.

ProTip #2: If you are in a Ghost - or any other vehicle really - and it is disabled by a Power Drain, do not just sit in it. Get movin'. Odds are good people are going to try and kill you. Maybe even the same person who threw the Power Drain! It's been known to happen.

But if you do get downed, and you are staring directly at the guy throwing the grenades, don't sit there. And if he throws one grenade, and somehow manages to miss - it could happen, work with me - don't continue to sit there. Because his second grenade is much less likely to miss.
