My campaign kill count is really, really low. I'm not sure if it's a bug or what. Some of my campaign games aren't there at all, and some don't show any kills for anyone.

I'll be online later than usual tonight. Going to hang with the wife for a while, maybe get on for a mission or two before bed. Probably a romp through The Storm.

Yo, Ghaleon, what happened last night? You and Coco just ditched to play campaign off by yourselves. The same thing just happened to me with Merguson: he ditched me to go play with Coco:(

Btw, this campaign thing reminds me of the WoW war efforts. Like Blood said, you've gotta admire the B.net kids' dedication. I'll certainly be doing my part; Blood, Merguson, and I just got done with a three-level run.

I think we just have different play styles. You sent me an invite at the same time as cocop last night, and I joined him and said we should pull you in as well. He was concerned that your enthusiastic forum posting would translate to a less enjoyable gameplay experience. I said I'm sure that wouldn't be the case. So I sent you the invite, and as soon as you entered the lobby, you let out a blood-curdling "Yeaaaarrrrrrhhgggggggg!!!!!!" Which I assume is a greeting of sorts? Were we in a room together, cocop would have shot me an "it told you so" glare.

Early on, he and I were lagging back, looking at the face of one NPC (all the NPCs are modeled after Bungie employees, and he recognized that one) while you ran ahead. When you asked why we were still behind, I said we like to look at details. We watch passive animations, talk about superfluous details, examine nooks and crannies. We like to soak up the game as we go through it, not sprint through.

Also, you ran around saying "Am I sexy? Aren't I sexy? How sexy am I?" And screamed a lot.

It's probably me just being a crabby old man, but such a blast of unbridled enthusiasm was too much for my weary bones. So we did a slow romp through Tsavo later on. No offense, we just have different play styles.

Look, Ghaleon, I can be calm and collected. If you were having a problem or being uncomfortable with the way I was acting/playing, why didn't you say something? I would have stopped, slowed down, etc. Dude, lets do a co-op game tonight, and I promise you I will pay attention to the details.

What kind of bullshit is placing limits about what we talk about? Communisum? If it's releated to Halo or Bungie it goes in here! Simple.

I don't wanna add a new subscription whenever a new Halo thread gets started. Or sort through random shitbags that don't know what they are talking about. Everyone in here are dedicated 'trust worthy' Halo fans. We don't all agree but, in my eyes all of our opinions are valid. Not random trolls criticizing the latest news, textures, animation, physics, maps etc.

If we are to end this thread, maybe Ascendant Justice could be our next stop?
 
Just now my party and I in RBTB were the victims of the worst cheating I have ever encountered in nearly 4,000 games of Halo. They were a party of 7 french guys, and they mocked us after the game when we called them cheaters. Chiefs Fan 07 was not in their party.

Yeah, I shouldn't have answered the question. I hate it when this stuff gets personal, and even more so when it spills onto the forum.

cocop and I play together because we're friends and play together all the time, and wanted to do a mission with the two of us. It's exactly that complex. No feelings should be hurt, no one is being picked on. It is literally fun and games.

I'm pretty sure Luke said that the equipment wasn't ready by the time Frankie left (he is gone already isn't he?). Which is sad, maybe he can drop by Bungie sometime and record one.
 
It also seems like they would have much more things to talk about if they did one after E3, PAX, bungie day, map reveal. Seems like we're going to have a lot to talk about in the next few months
and possible a bunch of Halo threads to talk about each one :P
 
I'm thinking the Bungie Podcast is pretty much done for. Or at least on a long mid-season break.

Or, who knows, maybe they aren't doing it because they don't have anything to talk about.

Signs point to "no" with Frank being on another one anytime soon. We'd like to keep recording them -- someday they'll re-emerge. It's not like another person magically appeared when Frank left -- so a lot of work has been shoved in my direction.

For those helping out with the war effort, apparently starting at Rally Point Bravo on Crow's Nest on Easy is the way to go. Supposedly you can get ~75 kills in 3 minutes. I'm about to try it out now and see.

EDIT: Yeah, I got 76 kills in about 4 minutes playtime... after the loadup/loadout, and resetting to the lobby it was probably about 6:00.

I wonder how a speedrun through Crow's Nest, The Storm and Floodgate would go on co-op. Toss some skulls on for fun, but keep the difficulty down a bit.

Cortana is a great level if you want to have no fun and hate Halo for forever.
