can you give away xbl codes on these forums? i have a one month subscription card that i would be willing to give to some lowly silver so that they may enjoy the wonders of online coop or some multiplayer.
 
Just finished a 20,000+ run of Sierra 117. Played on Normal with every detrimental skull aside from Iron and Black Eye. Wasn't much harder in terms of defending, (except for the ridiculous number of plasma grenades :lol ) but it took FOREVER to kill anything. Class rank up+ Doubled Health+ Increased Resistance= Tons of Ammo, which mixed with famine means I'm picking up pretty much every weapon on the map. The only annoying thing about the whole deal were the times when I wore a brute down to his last health only to see the Arbiter fire off one carbine shot into his head and prevent me from getting my rightful 600-700 points. I don't take it there is anyway to turn the Arbiter off? :lol

As far as the Laser achievement, I find that the more I try to do something specific, the more I will fail. It'll happen naturally sooner or later.

Yeah. I've decided that I'm probably just not going to end up getting Overkill, Triple with Sword, Laser, Mongoose Splatter. I'm at 40 in Lone Wolves now and if I hit 50 I'm just going to stop playing it, because I don't particularly like it. I just need to get to 50 in it so I can hit General.

I would love, LOVE to be added by some of you guys.
I'm a capricorn, favourite colour is green and I like long walks on the beach. Also I spell Favourite and Colour with u's.

It's fate I tell ya - I debut my Hayabusa in Lone Wolf, and instantly get a Killing Frenzy, which means I finally got that Achievement... :D And I was trying so hard yesterday to get it, even as far as getting 8 straight kills in a row a few times, only to blow it... heh

And again, major props to all who were involved in this - it took me roughly 30 mins just to rush to get there, and then go though the whole procedure - and that's after knowing what to do!

Kudos - because the armor looks badass...

it does, write it down and tally the numbers you did. Also Do it after the cut scenes not before. you will see the difference if you get it write.

Is there anything to let you know if you're getting the order right or does everything remain the same until you get it all correct?

Wait, why did it take you 1hr 45min? Are you playing on legendary or something? I could do all that in about 40 minutes.

Play on Normal and race through it. Get to each objective as fast as possible. Shouldn't take you more than 45 minutes.

Shouldn't even take you 20 minutes if you start from the last checkpoint before the Scarab.
 
you guys are forgetting that the skulls wont show if you use check points. You have to start from the beginging.

I didnt get any indication that the rings i jumped through were correct. The final indication that it worked is all the rings lighting up and with flash back to the end of ring 7.

What? I could have sworn I've gotten some of the skulls while using a checkpoint.
 
Sorry for not joining in the campaign invites, honestly I've wound up going through campaign like 6 times now with various friends and for achievements, skulls and terminals, kinda sick of it. Still have to go get the last skull, beat levels 3 and 4 on Legendary, and get the scoring achievements for 4-9 :(. I also have no hopes of ever getting some of the FFA achievements, and I honestly think it's pretty fucked up that they made them like that.

Little late, but two things: with your first problem, your NAT needs to be open, otherwise it causes problems, I think with connecting to people. You can troubleshoot it through the network test you can do in the dashboard somewhere. As far as the really bad framerate/lag, I've had it only happen twice in 99 games, and both times it was when we were trying to play with someone who was in another country (once Japan, once Malaysia). Are you trying to play with a Japan Gaffer? This may also be caused by the NAT thing.
 
Wow, played through Sierra 117 on Legendary with every skull turned on but Iron and Blind.

HOLY CRAP.

Game is too awesome.

Also got my Hayabusa armor after the mystery of IWHBYD was cracked.

Actually I was able to. I had gotten there but wasn't sure I was getting it right so I exited and watched the video of it and then just started from last checkpoint which was after I had just finished killing all the flood.

I then did it and got the skull. As a result it makes me wonder if people were wrong in that you can use saves but not rally points. That would make more sense then not being able to use either.

Just don't come back and complain that it's too short! :p

By the way, "pussy boy" in Halo 3 is called "Normal" for some reason. On Easy mode, the enemies die all by themselves when you point your gun at them.

Edit: Beaten! Somehow. :lol
 
Oh yeah, umm, so I was playing 2 player co-op with my friend as the Chief and me as the Arbiter on Heroic (we both already beat the game by ourselves on Heroic, but we wanted to play again, duh) and I noticed that there were absolutely no jaggies at all while I was playing as the Arbiter and the motion blur was somewhat better. Anyone else experience this ?

Hmm strange. I rushed through the last part of the first level to where I was told a skull was and didn't find it. Do I need to play through the entire level from the start or what?
