After my 50-75 games of Team Flag I've thought these through real fast:
-Flag time returns should be lowered which has obviously been said a lot in the recent posts but a lot of the games devolve into a dropping in and picking it up just to keep the return time low and is just really a dumb game to play. Things like this
http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStatsHalo3.aspx?gameid=1305083127&player=SometimesImEpic happen where obviously a team getting +20 kills and +20 assists its obvious we were a better team but the gametype doesn't make that matter and thats bad. IMO. Sure maybe if we were only like +5 kills or +10 but when we are just that much more skilled and coordinated but still lose to the grab and rush and grab method? Its just wrong.
-Utah Mambo spawns need fixed, just because a few made it to your base to protect the flag doesn't mean they should start spawning there, they should be spawning a bit towards back middle of their base. I think thats the problemm but something is definitely screwy with that map and needs to be addressed.
-As a permanent playlists whether ranked or social I would like to see Avalanche, and Heavies gametypes weighted less. Those seemed to come up frequently and almost always unwanted. IMO its a bit too big for a 5v5 playlist.
-I would like to see 1 flag games have less time on small maps, Ghost Town for instance (which tends to always be a draw against players who know what they are doing) as opposed to Standoff and Valhalla which take more time to traverse.
