You'd think something as big a new Foundry-esque map would deserve better than a crude drawing. Assembly had a crude drawing how many months ago?
When you think about it, it's rather lame. It's obvious Bungie ain't help jack shit trying to promote the LE version of Halo Wars.
Just wish the players weren't caught in a three way jerk off between Bungie, Ensemble and Microsoft.
Which is a shame, I'm pretty confident these maps will be great. As will Halo Wars, LE or not, but shit like this just draws ones attention to the whole shitty situation that is forced upon fans of Halo's multiplayer.

So Bungie are saying the Mythic Map Pack, available with Halo Wars, contains 3 maps. We know from the achievement that there are 3 more? So, the real Mythic Map pack will be released later (and probally only available when bought with the special LE version of ODST, ho hum) and the version Halo Wars players are getting is basically half of the real Mythic Map pack?
Right. If I'm picking up the LE version of Halo Wars (hopefully) to get the Mythic Map pack, I don't want some sort of Mythicer Map Pack with twice the number of maps coming out a few months later.
Fuck, this makes my head hurt. Just thinking about it. Then all the syupid mystery about what the fuck the maps are too? Stupid.

I don't care really, I will save here and there and I will buy anything Halo that Bungie ever produce, but I pity the majority of Halo 3 players that dont read Bungie.net (most of them?).
If this is the kind of clusterfuck that partnering with Microsoft produces, I've never been more happier about Bungie's new independence.

To be honest, I think that mods would have a much bigger problem with people arguing about the way the thread goes than posting some goofy old memes. When people are posting old memes in a thread, it means they're on the internet. When people are arguing about the way a thread goes everyday, it means the thread has run its' course. This is why I'd prefer that we move on from this topic.
I don't appreciate many of the posts that others make, I'm sure that many don't appreciate some of the posts I make. What keeps shit from hitting the fan is that we try to understand that people are going to post about what they want to post about, and we post and let post. And in an ideal world, when we got really pissed about something someone posted, rather than de-railing the thread to angrily rant about it, we could fire a PM about it, or at least mention it as an aside to the topic at hand.
I don't have any problem with you as a poster, I'm not even quite sure how you'd get that idea, I'm not entirely familiar with who you are. What I'm asking you to consider is this:
there was a perfectly reasonable discussion about the value of the map/map pack occuring, and you were making some interesting posts about the matter. Someone posted an AR/BR picture. At this point, you could've ignored it, and the discussion would've continued as it was. Instead, you chose to post several angry rants referring to "circlejerks" and the "Elitist little boy clubbers," and here we are now, not talking about Halo at all. You need to understand how angrily ranting about how bad x or y in a thread will always actually make the thread worse, regardless of what your intentions are.
