It is useful to have a separate thread when major things are announced, though. I'll probably make a separate thread for when AU2 hits so people who don't brave the depths of this thread are made aware of the new Achievements, map variants and playlist overhauls, for example. Not to mention when the next map pack is announced.

The GAF admin direction I was given when I asked about the MP thread was, "the fewer threads the better". But some things, like the MP thread and two screenshot threads, deserve their own. I think title updates and maps certainly fit in there.

It seems to be pretty simple, make new threads for major announcements/changes, keep little stuff like Gamevee videos and whatnot in here.

I do really like that the Admins have let the Halo 3 thread just exist pleasantly and it's become a little subset of faces and names that I've been able to put together via stuff like PAX.

The H3 thread and SportoGAF are where I spend most of my GAF time.
