Nice
I still need to play it though.
We really don’t. We have like, 4 generations of naughty dog games not being bombs financially. They are also at an absolute sky rocket in unit sales with tlou, uncharted 4, and tlou 2 all reach or approaching 20 million units sold each. Tlou 3 could cut that in half to 10 million life time sales and still be a massive success.No.
I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Asshole.
As long as Naughty Dog is developing it then it'll do well, possibly even better

“Asshole”
Wahhh. Dudes sitting here secretly praying for a developers failure because he doesn’t like how “sjw” they are is not someone whose opinion I care about. Naughty dog is literally either the most, or at least in the top 3 of the best selling and most critically acclaimed developers in triple achieving better sales than almost everyone else despite releasing on only a single platform. To think their next game is going to bomb because losers like you got butthurt they didn’t have all thiccc triple d girls for you to play as is hilarious.
Yeah yeah, terrible game. If only other games had 1/10th the Polish and attention to detail as this we’d all be floating in gaming bliss.Sad, I'm disappointed that people rewarded that terrible game.
That's unfortunate for you. After Uncharted 4 they became my favorite developers by a country mileFunny you say that because after U4 (which I never even finished) and TLoU2 (finished, but it's one and done and seriously wore out it's welcome by the end) my expectations of ND have dropped drastically - and they used to be one of my favorite developers.
Hate is strong word, it's moreIt did? It was still in US PlayStation Store charts over the holidays and it was just back in the top 5 in the UK the other week. Heck the game isn't even in stock on Amazon right now. It's really funny that the haters act like no one bought this game after that first week. Imagine living in that fantasy land.

Uncharted 4 is the perfect game IMO I've beaten it 7-10 times. I have my gripes with TLOU Part II but its highs are really goodWell, I loved Uncharted 2, liked U3 but found U4 extremely boring - they took the "walking and talking" approach that had worked so well in TLoU and tried to apply it to an action-adventure title, where to me it fell horribly flat. TLoU2 seemed like an attempt to take the same basic idea but inject just as many shitty TV series tropes as they could come up with into it. It's a pity, since the actual game parts were really good, but the rest of the shit they packed into it reminded me with great force why I don't watch TV anymore.
Dem TLOU legsI thought Ghost had the lead?!
Yeah, a bunch of my friends really liked U4, too. For whatever reason I just didn't get into it and increasingly found myself feeling like I had to force myself to carry on playing. Eventually, I stopped trying to force myself. I still have the disc, but thinking about it I feel absolutely zero urge to play it any more. It is kind of disappointing since up until the PS4 generation every Naughty Dog game I have played was at least enjoyable. I think part of it is that if I wanted a "heavily narrative style" experience then I would read a book and that's not really what I'm looking for in a game.Uncharted 4 is the perfect game IMO I've beaten it 7-10 times. Funny you say that because even since U3 fans were criticising the developers. U3 was too same-y, TLoU was too slow and felt different, U4 was tonally more serious and not like the first 3 (even though people started noticing the same formula by 3)
So if your implying a "what could be" scenario as if they're losing fans because some of you "used to like ND" then I don't really agree with your implication. The company just keeps striding even though some people "used to like them".....
Now that's more funny. I only see one winner here.
I would buy Recore or Crackdown 3 over it.Shit game.
People on this forum literally browse sites like Twitter and Reddit for things to get upset about, and by stating some facts and common sense I’m the one that takes it too serious? Man fuck off.!You take this shit way too seriously.
Well they're both intertwined aren't they? The polish and attention to details is easier to achieve on a linear game instead of an open world game. Even then RDR2 proved that it's possible to do with a giant team, which only maybe Ubisoft can pull off (talking about open world here).Yeah yeah, terrible game. If only other games had 1/10th the Polish and attention to detail as this we’d all be floating in gaming bliss.
Extra credit for linear experience amongst a sea of busy work open worlders.

I speak only for myself. I'm not "implying" anything - just stating that for the last couple of games ND seem to be heading in a direction that doesn't align with my personal tastes. I think you are taking this shit far too seriously - it's not as if your personal enjoyment of the game is adversely affected by people like me that don't care for it. I thought the pacing of TLoU (1) was great - sure, it was the start of the "walking and talking" presentation that ND are using, but I also felt that in that specific case it worked great. TLoU2 to me overdid the walking and talking and (also to me) seemed to have a lot of stuff that was structurally unnecessary and just added to make things "dramatic". And, to make it clear, I don't think it's a terrible game at all - just one that appears to have somewhat perversely put it's weakest part (the story) front and center.
I also find the intense reaction from a lot of TLoU2 fans faintly bewildering - people have different tastes. For example, I loved Death Stranding and a number of my friends literally hated it and thought it was boring crap - but I can't get upset about this because it's simply a reflection of a difference of opinion.
Knack 2 for me - masterpiece.I would buy Recore or Crackdown 3 over it.
They need to worry about fixing their trash game before any MP or expansion is worried about. Also that MP is going to be a disaster most likely too. This team has never even done a MP game.Pretty damn good actually. Over 13M sold, and multiplayer, numerous expansions have yet to be released.
Yes Amazon US was out of stock of it. I didn't say everywhere. All my points showed that the game is still selling very well.Hate is strong word, it's more
As I said, I knew it dropped off the charts, I wouldn't know if it re-entered month's later.
I assume you mean Amazon.com?
Because both standard & Limit Edition versions are available on Amazon.co.uk.
£29 for those interested

Ghost of Tsushima is full of a bunch of open world tropes that you'd see in a game from 2008. The story wasn't that great either. Hey look at this badass bad guy in the opening cutscene that you barely get to see anymore throughout the rest of the game.Ghost of Tsushima was a considerably better game and deserved that honor.
Since neither Jeremy from Geeks and Gamers or Jeremy from The Quartering have made a video on it in months, I can assume it didn't have the expected drop off they were expecting or hoping for.
Oh it is? Must be why it's back for sale on the PlayStation Store. Oh wait it isn't. That second major patch that was set for Feb got pushed to March and here we are half way through the month and no word on it. They're probably still locked out of their computers and can't work on it lolIt's fixed. Game is awesome. You should play it.

Isn't that Cyberpunk 2077? Say what you about TLOU2 but it is a working and fully functional game that rarely ever glitches.Oh it is? Must be why it's back for sale on the PlayStation Store. I stand corrected. I actually liked Cyberpunk but I realize it's many flaws.I was talking about Cyberpunk...
100 MillionEpic Games left Gears of War because each sequel cost significantly more to make, and the sales of each game remained relatively consistent.
Sony knew these facts years ago too.
It's obviously a success, the question is how much, because that game looks expensive as ****.
So much this.TLoU2 is one of those games that brings out the worst in gamers. On both sides really. People still sperging out over how much they hate it and trying to cope with it's success, and people acting smug about how well it did. I'm kinda starting to look at the situation the same way I saw the Star Wars fandom couple years ago. Just immature toxic infighting.
You know 10 years from now both sides are gonna be brought closer together because we'll all look back and realize it was just a fucking video game right?
They're the guys who started following video game sales when the The Last of Us Part II released and ended up looking like complete fools when they tried to prove the game was flopping.Ghost of Tsushima was a considerably better game and deserved that honor.
