Empire Signs American Distribution Agreement for Taito Legends

Empire, the leading AIM listed computer game developer and publisher, today
announced that it has signed an exclusive North and South American distribution
agreement for its retro gaming classic, Taito Legends, with Sega of America for
the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox video game system
from Microsoft(R), and the PC. The game will be released later this year in
Europe and the Americas.

The title comprises of over 25 classic titles from the last 25 years, including
Space Invaders, Operation Wolf, Rainbow Islands and Bubble Bobble.

Ian Higgins, CEO Empire Interactive, commented, "Taito Legends includes some of
the all time great video games and we are delighted to be working with Sega with
whom we have enjoyed a successful relationship over many years. The retro game
compilation market in the US is very significant and to have such a great
company as Sega behind the launch is ideal."

Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Entertainment Marketing, Sega of America,
Inc. commented, "We are proud to partner with Empire Interactive to deliver the
most extensive collection of arcade classics ever to be offered on a single
disc. Taito's library of games are as fun to play today as they were when they
dominated arcades in the 80's and 90's."

I like how it includes all the Space Invader games that Space Invaders Anniversary had, yet they both cost the same.
