Feels worst? How can you know that, no one has played it yet.Game feels worse than P5, or is it just me?
Atlus never go high tech with their games, just like Persona 5 they PS3 games releasing on PS4/5, but I personally digging its visual design and aesthetics so I'm fine with it.Looks pretty dated, low poly characters with rather low res textures.
But the game itself seems fun
Tale of Arise is not really cell shaded, its more like oil painted. Not as good as Arise but still good.

Me too, I actually really liked Tales of Arise's oil painted visuals, similar how I liked Vlakyria Chronicles water color aesthetics.I wouldn't mind the Falcom games using that shader.
There's multiple development studios at atlus, this one isn't made by the persona studio, as far as I know.Game feels worse than P5, or is it just me?
I wouldn't mind their games having that budget either... Not gonna happen tho.I wouldn't mind the Falcom games using that shader.
It won't be as good as P5 based on the development team and it probably doesn't have the same budget but it will still be a great game. It's meant to be different but similar to Persona and tide you over till P6 or PReF is out.Game feels worse than P5, or is it just me?
I'll prolly play it but I wish Japanese devs would move on from PS3 era already. Their games are so technologically limited.

Seems strange to me this game isn't using UE4 like SMTV.
this is coming out on PS3?
edit: no. i don't get it...or this is a "it looks like a ps3 game" comment?
Something seems off about the spiky haired guy's face. It's a long boi.
Regardless, it looks pretty good.
Some direct feed gameplay.
I've grown more used to the art style. Looks pretty cool actually. And the gameplay is what I'd want from a turn based jrpg.
Shirow Miwa’s artsyle is pretty damn good and fits the tone they are going for.I've grown more used to the art style.

Yep. I think it's literally the main thing that put their games on the map.Seriously Atlus has the most stylish UIs in gaming industry, god damn....I'm hype for this game.

Looks great to me. Any idea on platforms?
All of them, except the Switch, IIRC.Any idea on platforms?
