Tickets for Chicago went on sale Saturday and I had no idea because Tool's website seemingly didn't give a shit.

So now I can either buy seats off ticketmaster since the floor is sold out, or go through ebay again. Sigh.

e: Well ebay isn't bad at all. Tickets were $72 for the floor after the rape charges, and ebay has 'em for $80.

Are they intentionally skipping the whole southeast this year? They didn't come here during the spring either.

There will be more. Like pointed out, no way in hell they won't play New York. Judging by the Lateralus tour, they'll end up going everywhere twice.

I'd go to that... and then leave after Isis finished their set. :D

How can you like Isis but not Tool? Musically they're not far apart....

then again, you are a Red Sox fan...

They are similar in the fact that they both have long songs, but that's about it. Isis is more in the vein of stoner doom/post rock. If that isn't good enough of an explanation for you, then....

LOLZ you got swept by the Yanks

*runs*

Well that, but they both get a bit progressive. I certainly wouldn't expect someone who likes Isis to actually walk-out on Tool, even if they weren't their biggest fan.

and the second part...Well that's...that's just mean =(
