I am logged into my Playstation network account. It tells me I have to create a Ubisoft account to play. Which I cannot seem to do either on the console or on their website.

Yeah, I gve away Monopoly because I needed an Ubisoft account, what an idiotic company. They can crash and burn already.

I bought Max Payne 3 on Steam Deck a while back and after fucking around with the Rockstar account creation / logins for fifteen minutes, I shrugged to myself, put in a refund request and made a note to avoid R* games in future.

I had the same trouble with The Division 2 recently. Used ~100g of bandwidth downloading the game, then found out it's AO and had to create a Uplay account.

I got as far as them sending a verification code, so I had to dashboard to open up my email, and this counts as logging out of the game.. ..so you have to start again. FUCK THAT SHIT! uninstall FUCK UBISOFT!

That policy is dumb on Ubi's part, especially if they don't explicitly state it anywhere during the signup process. Tons of people use Gmail as their primary email service.

Also, I liked Outlaws. I thought it was a lot of fun, and like others said, it was something different. It felt like a nice change of pace from the tired Jedi versus Sith plots that most every other SW games have. While it kind of stunk in some ways at launch, it played so much better after the post-launch patches addressed some of its worst pain points. Still not a perfect game, but it wasn't garbage either.
