So bad news there’s a new wave of mobiks incoming: the kremlin wants 400.000 soldiers but it’s not mobilization, they’re supposed to be contract soldiers.

Some slight good news from the latest Ramstein meeting

-Spain is sending Ukraine an additional 4 Leopard 2 tanks
-Sweden is also sending Leopard 2s, approximately 10 have been confirmed so far

Yeah good luck finding those.

They must know what is happening at the front by now.
Volunteer recruitments fizzled out a while ago so I doubt this is going to be successful.

I read that the way this is going to work, delegating to regional authorities, it's going to essentially work as forced conscription while isolating the kremlin from responsability. Of course it also means it will be less a concerted effort backed by the central government which also means there's a good chance it won't meet 100% of the manpower goals.

Call them "contract soldiers" instead. People keep joking about ruzzians and orcs, but this really seem like the hordes of orcs from the lord of the rings.

Hope there is sabotage, and they all get fucked

Can't wait until this fuckwad and his prospective spawn are wiped out of the gene pool.

Also, it is Putin doing the sabotaging. Prigozhin got too cocky with his critique of how the war is led, now the meat grinder must grind Wagner to a halt.

Russia's lies are hilarious since they are telling them to western media outlets in a world where everything is taped.
The big difference is that western military intelligence is declassifying the information that counters their lies at a record rate. It started when they announced that Russia was going to attack before the Russian soldiers were even aware of the illegal invasion.

Who could have thought, the dane who burned the Khoran in Sweden turns out to be well connected with the Wagner group, and is friends with amongst others Aleksandr Iljutenko.

Swedish TV4 "kalla fakta" (translation "cold facts") has researched Paludans network, and he's friends with 6 higher up Wagnerites.

(sauce in swedish, will hopefully be picked up by other news sources soon, https://www.expressen.se/nyheter/uppgifter-paludan-kopplas-till-soldater-i-wagnergruppen/).

Also, hoping this is true:

it clearly dumps fuel on drone but hit to the drone is not intentional :messenger_grinning_smiling: it's baffles me how naive and soft biden administration is. they need to learn lesson from turkey and start downing russian planes when theyr assets in danger, and russia would not retaliate.
The fuel dumping before also seemed badly executed, like they were dumping behind it.

I suppose they could escort any future flights, but this is just a green light to release the arms the Ukrainians need to get air supremacy.

it's obvious intention to burn drone with dumping fuel on and light it up with engine but i guess it's not that simple or russian pilots are idiots could be both.
would be good answer to take air control over western side of black sea but like i said biden administration are to weak and afraid of retaliation.

The USA doesn't have to cause any international diplomatic incident in the Black Sea because they are already winning strategically in the region beyond their wildest dreams.

irc there was usa navy in black sea when trump was in office i don't remember any international diplomatic incident then, so i wouldn't call guarding air space in west side of nato borders and to the north side of ukraine any kind of incident, it could provide safety for grain ships and usa assets in international waters, romania is perfect country to do these type of sorties from.

How would that even work? I mean I think jet fuel is kerosene. I think that’s not so easy to get burning like gasoline would be. Guess I’m going with they’re idiots.

A deadly fire today broke out at a Russian FSB building located 75 miles from Ukraine after ammunition detonated in a warehouse.

A series of explosions rocked the building, which belongs to the FSB's border patrol section, before it burst into flames in the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don this morning.

One person was killed and two others were injured after the raging inferno ripped through the building.

Video shows the building engulfed in flames, as a plume of thick black smoke billows into the air in a built-up area of the city.

Eyewitnesses claimed that ammunition detonated in the FSB's warehouse, leaving at least person dead, reports Tass news agency.

Between 20,000-30,000 Wagnerites and regular Russian forces have been killed and wounded in the battles for the city of Bakhmut since May 2022.

Source: Ian Stubbs, senior military adviser of the UK delegation to the OSCE, during the meeting of the Forum for Security Co-operation in Vienna

Quote: "Over the past week, we have seen intensive combat as Russia continues its grinding offensive in Donbas.

Russia is suffering extremely heavy casualty rates. Since May last year, between 20 – 30,000 Wagner and regular Russian forces have been killed and wounded in the area around Bakhmut alone – a huge loss of human life for a total territorial advance of approximately just 25 km."

Details: According to the British diplomat, it means "that is over 800 Russian personnel killed or wounded for each kilometre gained, the vast majority of them Wagner fighters."

From what I read this is just part of the video. They were harassing the Reaper for hours I believe.

It's not that simple to fly in front of the Reaper and continuously dump fuel. It's cruise speed is probably very close to the minimum speed of the Flanker. Again I read somewhere that they do this to mess up with the Reaper sensors.

The Flanker pilot messed up his pass and is very lucky to return back to base.

Imagine what kind of PR spin Russia would Russia have to do if one of their "advanced" heavy fighter was unintentionally "shot down" by a ISR drone. :D
