Run a quaint electronics repair shop in mid-2000s Tokyo. Grow your business by carefully restoring iconic video game consoles, cell phones, music players, and other nostalgic devices. Talk to customers, hear their stories, and see how your decisions impact both their lives and your shop.

This actually looks pretty rad. Mainly because the hardware and parts seem incredibly faithful to real life. As someone who has repaired half a dozen PSPs, that's really what it look like inside, more or less.

I hope this comes to Switch 2 eventually.

I like this idea. Kudos to the devs.

I love video games.

You can literally make a game about anything.

The most mundane, inane shit and somehow make it fun and awesome.

That's real art.

I played this for 2 and a half hours tonight. I genuinely can't tell if I love it, or hate it.

On one hand, it's incredibly accurate in how you repair each device. And when you get to a device that you've ever repaired IRL, it's genuinely really nostalgic. It scratches the same itch as Powerwash Simulator.

But on the other hand, repairing small electronics all day is super fucking tedious. And they capture that aspect really well, too.

Like, it's pretty cool to go through and disassemble and fix a bunch of electronics from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s in this really digestible and interactive way… but after repairing my 14th PSP, I'm just like "what the fuck am I even doing anymore"
