Dude, she looks a hundred times better than RE2make. Her eyes looked incredibly uncanny there, here in Veronica she looks breathtaking.

Hells yeah. Can't tell you guys how much I played the Dreamcast version. I secretly wanted the PSX version, but I'd talked too much shit to my buddies about the PSX to go buy one so I had to make due. Having the health bar on the VMU was a legitimate great feature that has not been matched since.
I forget literally everything about the game though. Maybe I'll scrub through a walkthrough and get reacclimated. Haven't played it since launch window. Dreamcast launch window was a hit in the feels I was not ready for today...

That would make sense, since the game ending with her getting captured would be weird.
I hope they keep Steve Burnside as ridiculous as he is in the original though, what a legend.

100% gonna be a mix of third and first being switchable like Requiem.
Most RE fan prefer third person so no way they'll limit it to 1st again like RE7.
Claire looks way better than her RE2 Remake version most likely because the engine was still new then and wasn't as good.

No, I will bet 100% safe money its third person. They like to do these first person trailer intros for some reason. RE3make trailer also started in first person before showing Jill. Same for the RE2make intro, which started from a mouse's point of view of all things.

If they pull this off it means they can remake RE0, and we will have the first time the remakes are undoubtedly better than the original since Veronica and RE0 are rough for so many reasons.
I'm personally the most excited for this and 0 remakes.

Ah, you might be right - I'd forgotten about those.
But yeah, I hope it's completely 3rd person. The first person stuff is fun, but it is a completely different pace and approach to exploration and I kinda... don't want that for Code Veronica. Especially when the original was pretty combat heavy.

Code Veronica on the Dreamcast left quite an impression on me as a kid, especially since it was my first RE game.

I think the close up face shot is probably CG, and the other which is from the end of the trailer is Claires in-game.
In fact I don't think that close up will be in the game and was probably just for the trailer.
Because that reveal would be pointless in game
