If you can go 2-3 weeks without snacking you will find that your urge to snack constantly goes away. Eat slightly bigger meals, eat more dense (protein/fat) meals and you will usually find the snacking lessens.

I used to be like you, a lot of is psychological like having to munch on something while watching a movie but those calories tend to add up FAST and you don't even notice what you are eating/drinking. Working on breaking those bad habits will go a long way.

Protein bars aren't for snacking, they're for protein.

Say you're eating lunch, and you normally don't eat a lot of healthy food. Let's say you're going to eat a chicken sandwich with a breaded chicken patty, lots of mayo, and a bunch of pickles. On the side you've got french fries and some pudding. The protein bar is not a replacement for the pudding, it's a replacement for the sandwich.

No, that's dumb. It can replace the dessert. Quest only of course. It's the only one with good macros. I guess there are some newer copies but I've heard bad reviews. You will be replacing the sugar with fiber and protein.
