David Duchovny......never gotten that one before. one of the few celebrity comparisons I can actually see, though, now that i think about it. maybe it'll work for me?

You look like MC Eiht when he was in Menace II Society.

when i was younger i got that a lot too, until Eiht fell from the public eye and Katt stepped into it. also Krayzie Bone until Bone's popularity started dipping. basically strangers say i look like whoever the most recognizable black guy with long hair is at the time.

:lol!!!!

EDIT: If someone makes a gif out of that pic, I'll make it my new avatar. Maybe shifting around from my face/my friend's face/me grabbing the girl's boob.

I'm too nice to uncensor it, sorry!

2nd thing I noticed about the pic.

1st thing was hey..that's actually you in your avatar.

Oh, haha yeah it is :) :lol I wonder how many people think it's some celebrity or something!

My real name is Miyuru too, I dunno, I've always been somewhat against having an alias while online. I'm still the same person.

For the anonymity though, I can see why I shouldn't use my real name and such, but whatever.

6 months away from this thread, and I still haven't been kicked out of the top 5 posters in this thread?

Damn.

also, I shall not believe that is PD until there is more substantial, non-photoshopped proof. Hold up a sign or something, PD. :P

You look 32 to me. ( Not saying that as a bad thing :D )

Its the beard ... even with it, I regularly get ID'd for cigarettes :p I did earlier today.

When trimmed, most people guess me for a college student.

wow, demon and phoenix dark look a lot better than I expected them too.

I always pictured PD as some young nerdy looking kid.

You've actually made assumptions about peoples' looks, based on their gaf-postings?

We all do it - don't lie. Usually if there is a thread about being depressed, the guy probably doesn't look like a super model.

:lol

While there aren't many super models here, a good portion of gaf seems to be pretty normal. Then again, I suppose there may be a reason not everyone posts pics.

Who hasn't? Once I saw a really nerdy looking kid at my college, and he asked me where the physics building was, I looked to my right and said "Right here". I definitely thought about PD when that happened, that was how should look/act to me.

Most people don't look like supermodels.

Anyways, given enough time, internet personalities are often different from real world personalities, and there's not necessarily a correlation between posting style and real world looks. Pseudoanonymity plays a huge role in the way people interact online. Besides, you only get a subset of the person via their posts anyways, which is a big part of the reason relationships the cross over from the internet to the real world are dicey.

Edit: And for the record, i think most people online are "average" unless they post something regarding their appearance. There's just no accurate way to extrapolate an appearance based on posting style.

Not to mention, there are plenty of people that simply don't 'look the part' in real life to begin with.

I know plenty of people in that category. Combine that with your point, and assumptions on gaf are likely to be wrong more often than not.

I didn't literally mean super models.

looks don't mean shit. unless you're a super model, looks aren't going to get you anything that you wouldn't have otherwise gotten without them.

unless you're a girl.

unless you're a girl.

That's bullshit. Looks definitely help in giving you opportunities with women. It's not an end all be all but it definitely helps. You've never had a female basically wet herself whenever she sees you? There are plenty of girls who will throw themselves at you or at least attempt it just off your looks. I've witnessed and experienced it myself. Same goes for guys with females but thats much more common.

Edit: I should note that these women might not be the classiest of girls.
